Jon Hamm and January Jones attend PaleyFest 2012 honoring their show Mad Men on Tuesday (March 13) at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“January is learning a lot about what [motherhood is] all about and God bless her, man,” the 41-year-old actor recently told USA Today about his co-star.
“She had a baby [Xander] and he’s a cute baby. She’s doing it by herself. And you just go, ‘Good for you.’ She’s a great gal. I wish her the best of luck there,” Jon added. “I know from being raised by a single mom how hard it is. [But] she’s got a great family, mom and dad and two sisters.”
FYI: January is wearing a Jenny Packham dress.

*Something* about John Hamm bugs me but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it’s that ALL the people he criticizes in public seem to be women for some reason (even if I don’t like those people myself).

He’s complimenting, not criticizing January! I don’t recall him bashing any other women but if you’re referring to the Kim Kardashian/Paris Hilton comments, they had it coming.
Hamm is a coward he bashed 2 hustlers while they are down- I am not a KimK fan or PH – he should have singled out JerseyTrash or all the “Housewife” shows. Can’t make fun of the brown Hobbitsnookie because she is pregnant? Phony

@ Amy – google John Hamm. Many of his quotes have misogynistic undertones. He HAS previously criticized January for her choice to be a single mom which I though was right out of line and none of his damn business. He’s also criticized single moms in general. I am not defending PH or KK, in fact I actively loathe KK, and PH I have no strong feelings about either positive or negative she’s just a zero to me. But the fact that he singled out women, when there are many airheaded reality TV “star” men he could have picked on just adds to the momentum of his previous statements.

Reading comprehension fail much? Jon criticizing Kim and Paris didn’t have anything to do with them being women. He also ENCOURAGED January, if anything.
