    I like Hugh Jackman, but this sounds like one of those Gerard Butler- type revenge thrillers.

    I’d probably pay to watch him read the phone book, but this movie sounds really good….even better!

    As long as he’s naked in the film!

    @AmberWaves:

    I don’t think Gerald Butler is that much of a badass to star in movie with a synopsis like this. The synopsis is more along the lines of a Liam Neeson movie, who’s a complete underdog badass!

    @Tony: Hugh Jackman is a professional talented actor, not Dita Von Teese…

    PRISONERS was one of the most-highly rated unproduced scripts in the last few years. I have read it and it is suspenseful, a real page-turner, and somewhat on the dark side – not a typical revenge story. It also features another character, a brash young detective who clashes with the lead role of the carpenter ( an ordinary man struck by tragedy). This could be one of the best acting opportunities for Hugh Jackman!

    EXCITED? No. I’ve only seen one of Hugh Jackman’s movies – Real Steel, last summer and it was quite good. This new movie sounds okay but I’m not really sure if I’ll go and actually see it.
