@Carol: Im sorry but Madonna’s albums are usually half pure pop dance and half music with substance/ depth. Even the pop dance tracks she finds a way to give it more dimension for ex deeper and the video which is brilliant. her songs nobodies perfect, paradise not for me , spanish eyes, sky fits heaven, candy perfume girl, pretty much the entire American Life Album, Future Lovers, Issac, etc are more than Pop. I can appreciate Bjorks artistic quality but many people fell like me what the point if you can’t enjoy the music and honestly she only has to songs I would buy and listen to. If she was that great she would have more fans. Also its not far to compare the 2 Madonna knows she POP I’m sure Bjork doesn’t consider herself pop. so your point is stupid. Madonna doesn’t pretend to be anything more than a Pop star that is interested in bringing art to pop and provoking people to think about certain things.
