Gisele Bundchen: Antiques & Art Gallery Shopping

A makeup free Gisele Bundchen stops by East Meets West Antiques on Wednesday (March 21) in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old Brazilian supermodel also checked out a few art galleries – possibly to put some finishing touches on her huge Brentwood mansion, which was recently completed?

Later in the evening across the country, Gisele‘s hubby, Tom Brady, attended the Royal Oak 40 Years: From Avant-Garde to Icon event at NYC’s Park Avenue Armory.

On the carpet, Tom met up with hockey player Sean Avery, Edward Burns, and Swizz Beatz.

FYI: Gisele is carrying a Loewe suede Flamenco bag.

Argh! There’s always someone in a Gisele post who will say: She’s german, german this, german that… enough of that already! I’m also a german descendant, both my parents are. I have blond hair, blue eyes, I was raised in South Brazil, but that doesn’t make me any less brazilian! Where a plural country! I don’t look like most brazilian women who are brunette, have brown eyes, and a slightly darker skin, but that’s because most brazilians have portuguese or italian roots! there’s no such thing as a native brazilian look, except for the native south american indians, which is a minority just like in the US. We are a mix of europeans, africans, asians and many other races, and that’s what make us beautiful! Maybe in a hundred years we’ll have a characteristic “brazilian look”, but right now i’m as brazilian as it can get!

I don’t find him attractive at all. His face is too long, especially his forehead and chin. His eyes are too close as well.

I get upset when many non brazilians think that only people with dark skin are considered brazilian. They have no knowledge about the formation of the brazilian people.

    Greta Says:

No Brasil is not a plural country Brasil is a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi cultural country with one official language Portuguese. Those the various Indigenous tribes in Brasil speak over 100 languages none of which are European. In Brasil all of the people of European ancestry are considered white and they are at the top of Brasil’s political and economic ladder, all of the rest…not so much. Brasil is very divided racially and economically and if you are interested in the subject there are many videos posted on YouTube about the scandalous conditions of the minority groups in Brasil. Both of my parents are from Brasil and of German origins but we are still German. Learning German for German people in Brasil was mandatory starting from the third grade.

    Greta Says:

Quotation of Gisele talking about her German heritage: “I was born in Horizontina a town in the back country of (Brazilizn) state Rio Grande do Sul. The town was once mainly colonized by Germans. In the school which I attended, learning German was actually obligatory from third grade on. But being out of touch with the language for such long time, I UNFORTUNATELY forgot it… I belong to the sixth generation of my German family in Brasil. There you go! She has acknowledged her GERMAN ethnicity and she is proud of it.

    Yanomami Says:

Brazil has never been a plural society it is a country of immigrants. The original culture and languages of Brazil was Tupi ( Tupi-Guarani) and Tupula and they were not Portuguese by race, customs or culture and a consequence of the migration from Siberia into the Americas.
