I like Smash but McPhee is definitely the weakest “star” on the show. Luckily, the other actors, like Debra Messing and Megan Hilty, are there. I think McPhee is okay as a singer, but she is a rather boring actress. Fortunately for her, Steven Spielberg likes her.
