Jon Hamm Covers 'C for Men' Spring 2012

Jon Hamm takes the cover of C for Men‘s Spring 2012 issue.

Here’s what the 41-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On choosing roles: “When I got Mad Men, I was immediately sent a million other scripts just like it. It’s kind of what Hollywood wants to do: ‘Oh, you can do that well, so let’s keep you doing it.’ The last thing I want to do when the show is over is do the exact same thing. You’re that guy who wears a suit on that show. And you’re also wearing a suit in this thing.”

On his colleagues: “If I golf on a really nice course with really good players, I do better. Because you’re focused and you’re like, ‘Okay, I can’t embarrass myself.’ That analogy carries over into work. When you’re with people who are really good, you don’t want to be the person who sucks. That’s kind of been the philosophy steering my career, as weird as that sounds: to work with people who inspire or challenge me in some way.”

I just wonder how big he is going to be after Mad Men. I think he should have left the show a time ago. but i know his female friends will balk. But thing is just because women all gaga does not career make.I know he has been around but maybe he doesn’t want to a big male star. I just don’t see him being a HUGE BO draw. but who knows. There are really only a handful of people that left TV and make it big in movies.

….and yet he’s wearing a suit in this photo shoot. I hope he can move to other things different from mad men. I know he’s done other things but I feel like he’s always gonna be known as don draper from mad men.
