OlderIan Somerhalder: Genesis Awards Recipient!
Ian Somerhalder smooches Uggie the dog (from The Artist) on the red carpet of the 26th Genesis Awards on Saturday (March 24) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 33-year-old actor and animal activist was presented with the Wyler Award. Ian tweeted a picture of his award with the caption, “Sleeping next to me tonight…”
The Genesis Awards recognize celebrities who raise public awareness about animal issues. The awards ceremony is put on by the Humane Society of the United States.
Previous honorees include Anderson Cooper, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah Winfrey. Congrats, Ian!
