Michael Fassbender holds his award with pride at the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday (March 25) in London, England.
The 34-year-old Shame actor won the Empire Hero Award! Congrats, Michael. Also joining him at the ceremony was Olivia Wilde (in Carolina Herrera) and Chace Crawford.
“Presented an Empire Award to my hero Gary Oldman tonight. And got a standing ovation! Unless that was for him. We’ll never know.” Olivia wrote on her Twitter account. Gary won Best Actor for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

I trust that Ms Wilde made that comment, “tongue in cheek”, because there could be no doubt that the standing ovation was for Gary. In the event that she was not joking, her ego is beyond massive.

oh my gosh whenever i see chase crawford showing up at events it makes me laugh because he thinks he is relevant, yet he has no movies in production, and has a very very very small role on gossip girl. its like get some work or ship out girlfriend, instead of living off freebie bags at different soires.
Michael, I am so impressed! He is an extremely talented actor, an artist and yet he hasn’t followed the “superstar” paths! He dresses and behaves like a normal person that you see on street every morning! That’s how a real artist should behave and not like some other ones who, can be artists and talented actors but they lack of…attitude…
