Charlize Theron: Created A 'Resonant Evil Queen'

Charlize Theron braves the rain and heads to her local gym on Sunday (March 25) in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old actress and new mama was joined for her workout by her own mom Gerda!

Rupert Sanders, the director of Charlize‘s upcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman, recently gave an interview to the LA Times where he talked about her character development as Queen Ravenna.

“It’s a hard character to play because everyone has their perception of what the evil queen is and what the villain should do, but I think what was great about what Charlize wanted to do, is she wanted to find a very believable, very realistic, very wounded character,” Rupert said. “And I think that she found this incredible pain within herself that made the brutality of what she was doing far more resonant.”

FYI: Charlize is wearing an eco black slouchy pullover by Alternative Apparel.

as much as I love charlize theron, I honestly think she’s not all that “oh-so-pretty” without makeup. But she still look great for her age.
Regardless, I can’t wait to see her and Kristen in Snow White. That movie looks intriguing and all the casts look good.

None of the “beautiful” actresses are beautiful without makeup there are few exceptions to the rule.

@Toni: well, at least it’s nice and refreshing to see an actress her age out and about without any hint of makeup on. She looked good. One of a few celebs who actually look good sans makeup.

well, I for one don’t see much difference in how she looks without makeup and how she does with. She looks amazing, and not just “great for her age”(which isn’t THAT OLD for goodness sakes!). Oh well, different strokes.

Clearly they’ve decided to focus on the Evil Queen as opposed to Snow White. Smart move.

I think she looks cute even without makeup, and if anything a little younger, but that’s just my opinion.

Wow she looks good without makeup and plus getting out from a work out her face is bit wet and red, natural beauty!

I LOVE charlize and i think she is beautiful but is it me or has her face. It seems more fuller and rounder in the front pic.

Her face has gotten fuller in the last couple of weeks. She may be nibbling at some of that baby food, lol. She looks great!
