“My concert documentary is coming out Fourth of July weekend. Go and see it and be a firework!” the 27-year-old singer recently told E! News.
The movie will give fans a glimpse into Katy‘s rise into pop stardom and her life both on and off stage.
“The atmosphere I grew up in was 100 percent Christian. I started singing in church. I never really had another plan,” Katy says in the beginning of the trailer.

For me music, is so…so sacred, important, pure and beautiful.
You’ve got to do music for the love of it. Not for doing money, using computers to change your voice, beiing naked just for the love of yourself, and becoming famous and rich.
People who really loves music play it with a dirty shirt, talent and love…even pain sometimes, and it’s oftenly the most wonderful music.
I can’t stand Katy Perry because she is using music for herself, and she’s destroying young people music taste…but whatever, I know what good music is.
Kings of Leon, Etta James, Townes Van Zandt, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey…and many others !

I don’t get why you guys keep hating on her. I mean, If you don’t like her music, then why are you on this page in the first place–to be annoying? Of course this is for money. Stars want money too, just like we do. But does that mean that she didn’t put any effort into it, or that you shouldn’t watch it? No. If you like Katy Perry, like me, then you might watch it.
