How sad that Sparkle will do the same thing that Heath Ledger did for
Batman take over the movie after he died of the same thing! Forget
About Jordan she will be In the background. Since Jordan is Sparkle!

Not watching, but it looks good. I thought it was a musical comedy but after seeing that, it is really a serious drama..reminds me of waiting to exhale. The middle girl is really pretty too.

The movie looks stupid,
It’s sad that all of a sudden everyone “loves” her only after she died.
Too bad she will never know, She died a laughing stock.
A spun out druggie that everyone made fun of

# 7

Looks an awful lot like DreamGirls…
I’ll pass.

@Lord: Just because she was “a spun out druggie” for years, doesn’t stop people from loving her and her music. She had a good heart, she just lost her way and could never fully find her way back to reality. Also, apparently her performance in this is really good, and Jordan Sparks can’t really act. I assume Whitney would outshine her anyway.

Shocking how the drugs aged Whitney! Sad to see a once beautiful woman look like she’s pushing 60 when she’s only in her 40′s. And even sadder how she destroyed that beautiful voice of hers – she must have carried a lot of remorse with her through those final years.

@famousa: You poor poor soul. Whitney would be 49 in 5 months had she lived. She wasn’t 30 and was closer to 50 than 40 so stop acting like she was broke down and aged. She wasn’t.

@Lord: Laughing stocks don’t have their funerals shown on major channels or the Governer of the state and heads of corp’s + showing up, or Kevin Costner speaking and nearly breaking down while doing so. You simply wanted someone to acknowledge your existence didn’t you? Poor basement dweller got nobody to talk to and lacking the skills to engage in above ground convo. lawd, bless your pathetic self.

“Wasn’t my life enough of a cautionary tale?” You spoke wonders with that line Ms. Houston and created a legacy that future singers can both strive towards while realizing what to avoid. Sometimes the greatest lessons are taught through death.

@Love The Shoes:

She looked like hell at the end (for years actually) so deal with it and stop trying to blow sunshine out of her dead, druggy ass. Next you’ll be telling me she wasn’t a crackhead either.
