Zachary Abel & Malese Jow: 'Shelter' Pilot for The CW!

Zachary Abel and Malese Jow have landed the lead roles in the upcoming CW pilot Shelter, according to Deadline.

The show, which is produced by J.J. Abrams is “set at the historic New England summer resort Shelter Bay where the new and returning staff attend to the practical, emotional and often comical needs of the guests while navigating friendships, rivalries and romances of their own.”

Zachary will play “Mitchell Taylor, a 23-year-old former local baseball hero who now works the concierge desk at the Shelter Bay Inn,” while Malese will play “Morgan, Shelter Bay’s resident party girl.”

You may recognize Zachary from his role on ABC Family’s Make It Or Break It and Malese from her role on The Vampire Diaries.

    Jared…. this is being produced by Mark Scwahn from One Tree hill as well as JJ! Pleaseeeee give mark credit this is his brain child too!!!! I will watch for Marks talent alone!!!

    The cw seriiously LOVES to recycle their cast throughout as many shows as possible. This guy im pretty sure had a brief role on the secret circle too. Whatever though I really liked her on vd so maybe i will check it out!

    ugh just another recycled CW pilot – ABC is killing w there shows- they must be getting desperate. not sure gonna tune into this one sounds like a bore.
