Amy Adams Will Go 'Into the Woods' in NYC

Amy Adams has joined the cast of Into the Woods for The Public Theater’s “Shakespeare in the Park” season this summer!

Synopsis (via Playbill): A witch’s curse condemns the Baker and his Wife to a life without children. They embark on a quest to find the four items required to break the spell: the cow as white as milk, the cape as red as blood, the hair as yellow as corn, and the slipper as pure as gold. Will they succeed? And what happens after ‘happily ever after?’

Amy, 37, will participate in the outdoor summer production July 23 through August 25 at NYC’s Central Park.

FYI: Tickets to “Shakespeare in the Park” are free and distributed (two per person) at the Delacorte Theater the day of the show!
