This movie is sooo bad. Watched it about a month ago. It’s based on a book, but the adaption is really not good at all.

And RP still looks like a vampire. :-)

I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was a fantastic adaptation. Each actor really embodies their characters perfectly. Robert Pattinson was exactly how Georges was described. Very well done!

So good that it’s on video on demand before theatrical release.

Smh even when he is not playing a vampire he still looks like one…anyways I’m going to check this movie out I want to see if he has grown as a actor

    He hasn’t grown at all.
Same vapid expressions and stilted delivery.

This movie was actually filmed before eclipse. If you want to see what Rob can do as an actor…you might want to wait for Cosmopolis! If you like period dramas with a sex driven amoral main character then check out Bel Ami…you might just enjoy it!! It does not showcase his abilities as an actor as it is a rather disconnecting character but I did enjoy that. Some people will not get it all though! Overall, fair play to him for playing such an unlikable character. And since this was filmed he has already grown more as an actor.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Robert is NOT a good actor. Some of his acting skills are barely at the highschool level. He simply lucked out by hitting it big in the Twilight movies. There’s a huge difference between popularity and good acting skills. He’s a movie star, not an actor.

I suppose you’re an expert?? Its all subjective. I have already seen very solid acting from this young man and he really has not even scratched the surface yet! I look forward to seeing how he develops as he gains experience.

Note To #13 – I must admit that you are quite correct when you state that “he really has not even scratched the surface yet.” Could not have said it better!!

Looking forward to this! I think Rob has huge potential as an actor. It will just take some experimenting and on the job experience. He has been so tied up as Edward he really has not has a lot of time to figure things out. I’m looking forward to Cosmopolois as he must have learned a lot from Cronenberg and may just be the break he needs.
