The 25-year-old actor, who previously appeared on an episode of The Good Wife, will be making his True Blood debut when the hit HBO show returns this summer.

“I am so lucky and so honored to be working on such a great show. I can completely understand why it has such a massive following, as for me it has such great quality in all areas. I watch the show and was struck firstly by the great acting and how alive they all are. The writing is also a major contributing factor to this as well and I
really cant wait to see what happens,” he tells JustJared.com.

Giles plays Claude, the fairy who helped Sookie escape from fairy land not long ago. He describes the character as someone who “smells of fresh baked bread, cotton candy, and sex.”

“I really can’t wait to see what happens in the show as I am certainly a fan of the show too, however, the writers guard their scripts with their lives, and rightly so,” he added. “So I am never able to take a sneak peak into the future of the show.”
