OlderRooney Mara: 'Magic/Bird' Opening Night!
Rooney Mara looks sleek and chic in black at the opening night of a new Broadway show in New York City on Wednesday night (April 11).
The 26-year-old The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star was at the Longacre Theatre for the debut of Magic/Bird, a play about the relationship between NBA legends Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Larry Bird during the 1980s. Magic and Larry also showed up at the premiere.

Rooney is also in town working on her new film The Bitter Pill, a crime drama directed by Steven Soderbergh.

@Margo: She has cut her hair because the role demanded it from her. I don’t know many actresses who would do as many things to change their appearance just like Rooney did – not many of them would decide to cut their hair short, bleach eyebrows and pierce various parts of their body including the one which gives almost unbearable pain…

I guess that makes Kristen Stewart a better actress because she chopped her hair off for The Runaways despite being in one of the most talked about franchise in a long time, The Twilight Saga…acting is more than just hair..
