Samuel L. Jackson Supports The Wounded Warrior Project
Samuel L. Jackson comes out to support the Wounded Warrior Project at the premiere of his new movie, The Avengers, on Wednesday (April 11) held at L.A.’s El Capitan Theatre.
Marine Corporal Adam Harris and Army Specialist Jason Braase are just two of the brave injured servicemen (and Wounded Warrior Alumni) who were recognized for overcoming wartime injuries and giving back to their community as part of Red Baron’s “Heroes Beyond The Battlefield” program. They were both given a year’s worth of the new Baron’s Best Pizza!
Stars from The Avengers autographed a specially-designed Marvel 24” x 36” framed artwork, which will be auctioned off by Red Baron on eBay Giving Works next week. All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project!
Other stars who stopped by to support the servicemen: Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and the man who started it all, comic book creator Stan Lee.
