Gerard Butler: Coachella After Party!

Gerard Butler lets out a laugh at the 2012 Coachella Music Festival GenArt MUSE party powered by Ciroc to benefit The Art of Elysium on Friday night (April 13) in Indio, Calif.

Later that night, the 42-year-old Scottish actor made his way behind the DJ booth and chatted it up with the musicians!

Earlier in the evening, Gerard was spotted enjoying The Black Keys‘ performance at the outdoor music festival.

Last week, while in New York City, Gerard hit up the popular hangout The Darby, where he took the stage and belted out “Wonderwall” by Oasis and “Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones!

    I so agree with you. The double standards  of some of the posters here – totally unbelievable.

    Reviews

    Loads of celebs his age get invited to those events,  doesn’t mean they’re sad and desperate enough to go.

    @Whatshedonenow:
    He gets invited to many, many things, and he goes to as many ones as he can. If he doesn’t go, it’s because it conflicts with his schedule or filming.
    .
    Give it a rest already. He is not a loser for going to a party.

  • Sweet

    @Reviews:
    Manny is already on your case. In the absence of GFW to pick on, she is now setting her sights on you. Don’t respond to her. It’s only the fuel she needs from you to start another battle with you.

    It’s interesting what the media defines as pretty. The brunette definetly pretty the blonde is not. Remember this is just an opion.

  • Whatshedonenow

    Reviews

    What! Are you out your box delusional? Of course he’s a loser if he’s pushing 45 and still goes to parties and clubs to deliberately pull girls young enough to be his daughter. Oh please.

    If you don’t like what I am saying fine, but it’s the stone cold truth.

  • GFW

    Love the hat, it’s a keeper! It is.

    Answer. Typing with his two big bear-paw thumbs a quickly needed well-constructed sentence that is either racy, funny or instructive in response to someone special enough for him to do it then and there.

    @Whatshedonenow: Well said! Ger is acting like a dirty old p/erv lately….
    -
    Mid-life crisis, much??????

  • toofunny

    Don’t know if you can complain about Butler being too old for a music festival when a lot of the acts these days are 20 years or more older than him. Maybe not at Coachella per se but see Stones, Rolling. See Tyler, Steven. Osbourne, Ozzy -ah Ozfest, the memories, well maybe fuzzy memories. Imagine KISS/Motley Crue coming to a town near you this summer. And the silly 20 year olds be out to suck those old dicks too.

    Reviews, whoever you are, you need to stop worrying about Gerry and his love life. What will be will be and nothing that people keep yakking on about here is going to change that. Seems like useless conjecture.

  • S

    @cupccake:

    Both girls r pretty. The brunette has the collagen duck lips tho’. Why do they do that to themselves??

    I have to say I don’t agree with you on a lot of things but my biggest issue with you is what you said above. Your opinion is just that, your opinion, it isn’t more valid or more ‘true’ than anyone else’s here.
    -
    I don’t see anything wrong with going to music festivals regardless of your age, I certainly won’t stop going to Glasto just because I hit a certain age (I’m not sure what people on here deem an appropriate age limit is for enjoying live music).
    -
    I would agree if he was f*cking a shitIoad of young women at a festival, that’s a bit skanky regardless of age but dancing, hugging and flirting doesn’t equate to f*cking.

  • Whatshedonenow

    @toofunny

    There are festivals and festivals. Glastonbury and The V festival – all ages go. But this one looks like an indie, event. The guy is too old to be there. He looks out of place. I could be wrong maybe there are some other old giffers there, but I bet they are few and far between.

  • PsychoB

    Coachella wow did I call that one. He is still spiraling downward. Ignore it since you all must but Gerry is not recovering but only going to get worse. I hope you all can live with yourselves when he finally hits bottom. Coachella is just the worst place an addict should ever go. too sad for me.

  • Whatshedonenow

    @ toofunny

    He obviously still doesn’t get it yet. If you hang around with people who are substantially younger than you,  and you try to behave like them. It makes you look even older than actually are. In the recent pictures he looks in his fifties compared to those young’ uns.

    .
    Trust me, I don’t worry about his love life. But maybe it worries you if he ever gets into a relationship. I noticed some women here really hate the idea of Gerry settling down. Might take away their fantasies is why. I am not selfish. That’s why I think settling down will be the best thing for him in the long run. So no, sorry to disappoint you. I will not stop saying what I think is right.

    Seriously, does anyone stop liking live music with famous bands? I hadn’t realized their was an cut-off age limit? Really? And, just what is it?
    -
    In my part of the world, that has many musical venues and bands flock here, just know people from all generations return to see bands from their youth. If Crowded House appears or Neil or Tim Finn solo? I’m there. I am. Age and music? Eh?

    Just like the need for loving never stops. The need for music doesn’t either!

    who thinks going from Eastern to Pacific time zones has to be exhausting and he looks looped, not by drinking or anything else, just running on fumes… who had that phone and took it back… too smart for me… the touch-pad he’s using? Damn, I was like freakin’ out! The brains that invented it put the voice dial button just under the backspace key. Okay… you can get the laughable visual with my typos! So got my 4g BBB back! Did you read my post about music festivals?

  • Manny

    @Sweet:
    .
    Awwww have you missed me? The only time you post is to follow me. Makes one wonder…

  • AnalyseThis

    I saw Pierce Brosnan there. This is a music festival for everyone. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Gerry attend before this one. Perhaps it was because he was invited this time. He dances with the girls. Big deal.

    You all seem to forget that when Gerry was training to be a lawyer, he got fired for living the party lifestyle. He was at least smart in that he found a profession that enables that. He can party on the rest of his life if he so chooses, if it’s what he wants although I would think even he would tire of it one day.

    Celebs live a different lifestyle then we do. He’s not behaving any different then anyone else that’s there.

    Except for the hat, looks like he just climbed on a plane from NYC and flew straight to LA without changing clothes!

  • Whatshedonenow

    @ GFW

    At that festival? Damn right. Look at the state of him. And look who’s standing right next to him. Birds of a feather eh.

  • Whatshedonenow

    @analysethis

    Was he there on his own chatting up the chicks? or with his wife?

  • Sweet

    @Manny:
    Just calling you out, and I think I hit the nail right on the head, sweetie.
    .
    @ Reviews – thanks for heeding me. We don’t need more never-ending fights here.

  • ITA

    @PsychoB: I agree with you. Gerry is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict who’s been on a non-stop party binge from Austin to NY to CA. There are so many red flags here it’s depressing. People all over twitter are remarking on it. Those who aren’t his fans can see that the likelihood of Gerry being sober these days is slim to none.

  • Question

    what’s DATEALIBERAL?
    when was he on that?

  • Whatshedonenow

    I think he should marry Moria. She’d be the making of him.

    @Whatshedonenow:
    You are really becoming more and more obnoxious, aren’t you? What’s the matter, you get off on this stuff? Or, maybe you are jealous Gerry has young women around him???

    i liked butler years ago..when he wasn´t as famous and we had no clue about his private life.

    but he is an old dude–who still thinks he is twenty—on top of that he is a malewh@re or gay–i am not sure-

    however–to me gerard butler is a dissappointment.

    i thought he is cool and funny–but he is just embarrasing.
    i feel sorry for his fans ,that invest so much time in such a unattractive character.

  • ???

    @ITA: Gerard Butler drug addict? He was in rehab for pain pills not quite my idea of a drug addict. I wish he could find out who you are and sue you for libel. If your type could be held accountable for your hogwash, I bet you’d tone it down. Sicko.

  • GFW

    @Whatshedonenow:
    So he’s guilty by association?
    -
    Standing near dangling vodka bottles = he’s drinking.
    Standing near drunks = he must be too.
    Standing or dancing with a “type” chick = must be the “lucky” one.
    Being at a concert where drugs could be = must be using again.
    Blurry red-eyed from burning proverbial candle at both ends = hitting rock bottom.
    Same outfit = must not have washed up.
    Shiny face = stoned and drunk.
    Cool hat = hiding place for chicks numbers.
    Typing on phone = sexting for certain!
    -
    Jesus in a camper van! Really?

    Who cares who he’s with or what number he gets. He’s going to do him. He’s single not breaking any laws. I’m sure he won’t be taking these girls to Sunday dinner at moms…this to shall pass.

  • ITA

    @???: Addiction to pain meds is drug addiction. Addiction to cocaine is drug addiction. Gerard Butler is a drug addict.

  • Whatshedonenow

    PsychoB & ITA

    Have to agree. Outta rehab and  straight back into partying without missing a beat.  Mid-life crisis was mentioned.  From his  immature behaviour it maybe worse. And his so called friends aren’t doing him any favours either, nor are his delusional fans, who keep on saying daft things like – oh isn’t it wonderful that Gerry is having such a lovely time hugging  and chatting to young girls at drug and alcohol infested events.

    Or isn’t it great to see Gerry out and about having such a great time at all those parties and clubs. Particularly when he’s just come out of rehab.

    Talk about naive. I really don’t think some of these posters are safe to go out on their own after teatime. Jeez.

  • PsychoB

    @GFW: again you show me you don’t have any idea about addiction. No matter your insistence that you do. Brilliance GFW, your just so unbelievably clueless

  • TheUglyTruth

    @???: Are you a complete MORON or what?????? Presciption drugs are the NUMBER ONE cause of drug addiction. A drug is a drug is a drug! Painkillers have opiate in them. I can’t believe you said such a stupid, uninfomed thing! Prescription drugs KILLED Heath Ledger, for one (that’s just off the top of my head)…..booze and LEGAL drugs kill people everyday.

  • TheUglyTruth

    @Manny: Love ya, Manny!

  • niknoks

    @???:

    It doesn’t matter whether it is prescription meds, alcohol or illicit drugs, if you have a psychological and/or medical dependence on a substance then you’re an addict. It is that simple.

  • Manny

    @TheUglyTruth:

    ha, ha, ha,,,,, as I love these games Mr. BUTLER, really is a very intelligent man, is like being in a masquerade, likes to test people and especially to someone who really wants a lot. might suspect … during these last days, has moved all the chess pieces and want to know if you can checkmate the Queen, but the queen is more cunning than he and she passed the test, I can feel good I think ….. it’s all fake, but the time and Mr. butler have the last word, but still the world butler is charming and exciting, it’s like love an adventure. ….wow……wow…. love … love and many kisses …..ayyy….pero si es un papasito……..cholita no seas coqueta……control…control…..cambio y fuera……….

    Back to picking on GFW, eh Manny? Can’t stay away from your need to argue. You are a sicko and you deserve the neggs.

  • GFW

    I’m kinda laughin’ at where’s all the gay rumors now? Is this concert a covert op quick fix for distraction and Freddy is back in the hotel room? OR he is the one he’s sexting, I mean, texing?
    -
    Put him his warm thick thigh up against a ‘type’ chick’s pleasure zone and you guys are like okay now? See what I mean? Perception equals reality.
    -
    He’s next to a way burned out been wherever he is 400,002,001 times too many camera guy way past his prime who makes Gerry look like Cupid himself, and what? That guy is okay to be there, but not Gerry? Don’t get.

    @ wakeup phannie

    @wake up

    Oh.  the classic you’re jealous of young women argument. You are completely off base on that one hun. I am one of the few who DON’T slag off the women he’s been associated with. If they’re good looking I will say so. If they’re starf***ers, well, each to their own, and the Buttyman knows exactly what he’s getting himself into when he hooks up with them. I actually thought that Brandi chick got a really raw deal after admitting that she jooked him. So you are way off base. As for being obnoxious …well… that’s just a matter of taste. I have obviously upset your  very delicate sensibilities.

  • ???

    I realize all the facts about drug addiction, however, I feel you used the term “drug addict” for effect in kind of a salacious way. “He’s a DRUG ADDICT.” Raising a mental image of creepy people shooting up in a dark alley. Now, I know that isn’t the only kind of drug addict, but I still think you used the term for effect, not just saying he had a recent addiction to pain killers, but that he’s a drug addict.

  • Manny

    @GFW:
    .
    You obviously missed the gist of her post. It is not hard to predict his behavior IMO. What she is eluding to is that if it is harmful to his “sobriety” he is so there… as with clubs every night.
    .
    I’m not under any illusions that his “rehab” was for everything but sobriety, whether it was for insurance purposes, PR purposes, etc. His behavior hasn’t changed one iota. He is probably doing whatever substance he has been doing in the past now IMO. He has shown no signs of embracing a rehab lifestyle at all.

  • Manny

    @Sweet:
    .
    Join the neg club girlie… It seems peeps are little over you…

  • TheUglyTruth

    @Sweet: Oh, s/hut up, already! GFW is the #1 s/hite disturber on JJ!!!!
