Abbie Cornish: 'The Girl' at Tribeca!
Abbie Cornish poses on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie, The Girl, at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday (April 20) in New York City.
The 29-year-old actress, who chatted with director David Riker, looked lovely in a Roksanda Ilincic dress, DVF shoes, and Neil Lane jewels.
The Girl centers around a young woman who takes a one-off job ferrying illegal immigrants over the Texas/Mexico border and winds up caring for a 9-year-old girl.
“It totally rebirthed me as an actor,” Abbie recently told press. “It felt like it was the first time again. In making the film, I felt like it was the best I had ever been as an actor in all regards – as an actor, as a collaborator, as a human being.”

How many times do I need to see this chick’s face before I remember her name? I mean, she homewrecked Reese Witherspoon, so she should be recognizable…but she’s not. After years. Blah.
Abby in my eyes you look wonderful and very pretty but unfortunately in the eyes of Hollywood you are overweight and really can’t act. Brutal!
“I felt like it was the best I had ever been as an actor in all regards…” High praise from Abbie who is one of the best working actors today.
She looks gorgeous as always and I can’t wait to see The Girl, it seems an amazing film!
