1. She is rude to people who work on the sets no matter what their position. I can testify that she is personally. My first day on set I was watching them film a scene when she walked up to me and told me to get her some water and be fast about it. I told her I had no idea where to get it. She said you will be fired before lunched. I told her it did not matter to me I got paid in advance. BTW for those that do not I am freelance photographer and sometimes do still shots on movie sets. Did some on SD.
2. That if you are not fawning over her she is extremely rude to you. I can. She put my daughter in tears at lunch truck on set. She was with me when I did still shots on set. When Kate tried to get in front of her in line and my girl did not yield Kate ask “Don’t you know who I am?” My girl said, “No. should I?” Kate told her she had enough on her plate and took an apple off of it for herself.
3. She think she knows more than anyone about anything? I can. She kept trying to change the way I wanted shots set up. Tried to refuse to let me photograph her unless I did it her way. She lost BTW. Producers and director told her I was in charge do it my way.
I listened to her insults for three days in 2010. But more than anything she went out of her way to insult my teenage daughter several times.
Does this tell you why I dislike this woman so much? Now can you deny any of these things? Can you prove me wrong? Have I called her any names?
Both of you come down hard on anyone who dislikes Kate Bosworth but you do so without any reputing of the info they state other than to call them liars and delusional.
Do your research and use facts in your rebuttals. No one is an angel. And that applies to Kate too. And those of us who dislike her +for any reason+ have the right to express it. Call your uncle back and ask him if he did the shots for The Film Commission Of Louisiana, OSHA, and the three different insurance companies that all had photos done on SD? OSHA never accepts the film’s photographer shots for their reports. And the insurance company I worked for doesn’t either. When they want to know if the actor they insure is working in safe conditions they don’t trust the house photographer.
And I DID ask Tulip and Golden to respond to this. Read a little better Leelee. And I am only Texas Swede. I read about what the other person you referred to had to say but I have no scars just very bad impressions and personal afronts to my child to dislike KB for.
If any of you knew me at all you would know my health does not allow me to work for more than a few days in a couple of months time. I have Lupus. In order to work for 3 days I have to go thru a medication change that is very hard on my body and dangerous as well. Once in a while I take a freelance job just to feel like I still matter and am productive in life.
Now if you will go back to my post and read the last sentence in paragraph 1 I said, “Did some on SD.” Not that I did some FOR SD. I was on the set of SD for 3 days while contracted to take some still photographs to ensure safe working environment for my bosses client.

@Texas Swede: My uncle who is a member of IATSE said a big NO. A photographer isn’t sent to a set to take pictures to ensure a safe working environment. Other safety precautions might be necessary, i.e. fire dept crew members but not a photographer. He wants to know what was being filmed the day you were “supposedly” there.
@No Way: The bear trap scene was the first day. The second day I spent going to the different locations. The third I spoke to 3 of the actors who are insured by the company that hired me.
I dealt with the assistant producer. I did not meet your uncle. BTW your uncle is mistaken. The FCL did have a photographer take pics for their site at the time. They were not credited to your uncle. And OSHA does send a photographer (who is also an investigator)) when a complaint is made.
@No Way: Do you have the dates you were there? Was it at the beginning of production? BTW, no complaint was made to OSHA during the filming of SD. The companies that insure actors don’t send photographers to set unless someone gets hurt. And even that’s rare as medics are on set and handle those matters. Nobody was hurt during filming.
@No Way: You are wrong again. If there is something in a script that the actor is doing and not using a stunt man for that the company feels is dangerous they send an observer (usually a photographer to record in pics) if the scene is done safely or not. You are aware that insurance companies can pull an actors coverage if they feel the filming is too dangerous?
And most of all what makes you think you uncle was high enough on the ladder to have even known about my presence on the set? Believe me the still photographers job is not one of power or seniority. And how would you or he know if a complaint was made to OSHA or not? They do not make announcements saying they are there sometimes. It is not good for crew morale. Producers try to keep crew happy. So they would try to keep a complaint quiet. Ask your uncle what an inspector looks like? Ask how many men and women were allowed on set as guest of the producer? And ask how many took pics on their personal cameras?
Your uncle may be a member of the Theatrical stage employees union but he knows nothing about Insurance and OSHA. I am not union. I work freelance. So I can speak the truth without fear of reprisal from a union for saying the wrong thing.
@No Way: Also ask him about the ASPCA. Anyone can tell you someone from them or another organization like theirs was there with the “hung Cat” scene. And the opening deer kill scene.

And my final question for your uncle Steve. Ask him if he still wears that straw hat with the brown band on it and if he still has the beard? Now for a description of what he had on the day I watched the scene shooting…..He was wearing the hat I described. He started the day with a jacket that was very very dark blue. But took it off when morning warmed up. He is maybe 5’10″ tall. He wears glasses. At the time he had a beard that contained a lot of grey. I think he is around my age in his middle 50′s. Hard to tell with beard. He is not obese but he is overweight.

Just something I’m wondering, I’ve heard a lot of bad stories about KB, how does this woman maintain relationships? Seriously, if I’m with someone and he is rude to people for no reason, that’s just the biggest turn off there is.. See it all the time in restaurants, people being rude to the staff.. Beginning, middle, end of production? You description of my uncle is completely wrong. Here are some other instances where you are wrong:

@No Way: In answer to when during production I have no idea. I was there 3 days. My company told me when to be at my hotel and gave me my schedule. One of the asst. producers picked us up each day and took us to the set.
#1. You are the one who said you uncle belonged to IATSE. That is the International Alliance Theatrical Stage Employees. Now you say he doesn’t. Which one is it?
#2. And anyone can tell you that some kind of animal rights organization inspected the fake cat situation out. There are unions for the animal trainers as well. And any film that uses animals in it is going to be visited by one of the organizations.
#3. Not if the publicist were doing there job right he wouldn’t. So I guess the man with the OSHA name tag that rode with us to visit film sites (ie. bar, town, football stadium) was a fake. And the publicist would not be the one to deal with OSHA anyway. It would be someone from legal. Publicity would only deal with it if OSHA found the claim to be legitimate and fined them.
#4. I did not watch the siege scenes. I said the ‘bear trap’ scene. I am referring to the scene where Charlie and his bud are setting the bear trap to hang it on the wall.
As for my description of your uncle I am looking at one of my shots and describing the man who was taking the stills when I was there. I think there is a video out there also with him. I will try to find it. As I said I did not meet him. I was assuming that was your uncle since you are so sure he is the only one that took stills for SD. But I promise you there were more of us taking pictures than your uncle. His were for the movie and ours were for business.
#5. My quip about ‘ guest of the producer’ was to make you think. There were a lot of people who were guest on the sets that took pics for mementos. So they can say they took still pics on the set of SD. And they are not lying. I happen to have been working at the time. But I did take pics on the SD set. I did have a bad experience with KB and she was rude and mean to my daughter.
I was hired by an insurance company that insures 3 of the actors in SD. Small budget films do not always spend enough money on safety for the actors. They sometimes ask actors to do stunts that should only be done by professional stuntman. Insurance companies are not the trusting type either. And yes when I go on sets for the insurance companies I go as a guest of the producer. No one is to know who I am. I have done other set visits for other reasons.
I did not work FOR Straw Dogs but I did work On the Straw Dogs set.
So we have you definitely lying in your post here. About your uncles union affiliation. I understand having company over the weekend but did your other 2 comrades have company too?

“I did not watch the siege scenes. I said the ‘bear trap’ scene. I am referring to the scene where Charlie and his bud are setting the bear trap to hang it on the wall.” Considering the bear trap was a prop and not a real bear trap, there was no concern for danger. The production company wouldn’t run the risk of a main actor getting injured and having to shut down production. There is no truth in what you’re saying!

1. Yes – someone is there when a live animal actor is working. If it’s a prop and not a real animal, no rep is there. No rep was there during the “hung cat” scene.
2. Ridiculous. Makes no sense. The exec producer works for the production company. If you’re there to potentially “catch” the company doing something against the rules, why would the exec producer work with you and keep your identity a secret just to get the production company in some kind of trouble?
3. One insurance company insures the production including the actors for the duration of filming. For example, if a passerby trips on a gaffer’s cable and sues, the insurance company handles it. If an actor is sick or injured and production is canceled for the day, the same insurance company takes that on too. That means they cover the actor’s medical care and the cost of the day’s production.
4. Spare me the naivete krap. You’re simply trying to deceive posters and it’ll only work with the ones who want to believe you no matter how absurd you sound. Never would a secret insurance rep be sent to location to be sure a prop was used. What’s the point of that? Social workers are on set when minors work to make sure rules are followed. They don’t sneak around hoping to “catch” the production company breaking rules. Were you there the night they filmed the bear trap snapping around Charlie’s neck? Seems to me if an insurance company has so much concern for an actor’s safety that they feel it’s necessary to send in a secret agent, they’d be way more concerned about that scene. Considering the bear trap was used for that purpose as well as the snapping shut during the “hanging on the wall” scene, I’m very sure it was obvious to the insurance company a prop was used. Sony/Screen Gems would insist on the use of stunt doubles for any scene that posed a danger. They wouldn’t put their actors in harms way. And how would the insurance company have the filming schedule that changes constantly? BTW, Rod Lurie is very respected by people in the industry.

I said I’d get back to you on one point in a couple of days as asking someone to look at video footage is more time consuming than a quick text. Against my better judgement I am going to answer you this one last time. Please read my answers carefully. You are still confusing the things I am saying. I will try to elaborate more so you can comprehend them better.
1. I told you originally that with something like the dead cat scene in the script that some type of animal rights group would have someone on the set. You are the one who decided it would be the day of the scene. I am an intelligent woman and know a prop would be used for that scene. That point is moot and has no relevance. Drop it. You yourself state that when live animals are used in scenes there is a rep there. So why are you arguing this point?
2. I don’t work for the company’s insurance people. My purpose is not to catch the production company doing something wrong. Hence no need for producer to not know my identify. But hard to keep it secret if anyone else knows. Ever heard of loose lips?
3.The companies insurance is a kind of “workman’s compensation” insurance. Actors can insure any body part they want. Or their life. It is a totally separate thing than the insurance the company buys. Actors ie. Tom Cruise who does his own stunts can’t buy this type of insurance because he is too high risk. My purpose is to make sure sets, props, and actor participation is up to contract level. In other words the actors have a contract with the company that hire me not to do certain things and to refuse to work under certain conditions that are unsafe and too high risk. Some production companies will try to get actors to do their own stunts for different reasons and put pressure on them to do so.
4. After turning in my report the company felt the concerns not legitimate and I returned home. BTW Unless Alex was one of the insured why would I need to be there for that scene? I don’t make the calls. I go where they ask me to go, evaluate the situation, and report. As for how they found out the schedule they handle that at the business office. And no Rod Lurie is not very respected by the industry. His ego and insecurities to the point of begging people to like his movies make him a joke. Most women consider him a chauvanist jerk and don’t want to work with him. Not to mention putting himself play a cameo part in his films. Who does he think he is Hitchcock?
5. I was the first one picked up each day. The first day we went to the airport to pick up 2 and then I woke up when we got to the set and there were 2 more. It was about an hour and a half from the time I was picked up. Each day I was the first one picked up and then others were picked up.
6. I think I covered that in #4.
7. There was something on the set that I wanted my boss to see and the way Kate wanted to stand blocked it. The exec producer told Lurie I was to have free reign and to have them work with me. When the water issue came up Kate was finished for the day. No assistant in sight. She treats everyone like her assistant. The lunch issue was the same. She was not shooting for the rest of the day but she was strutting her stuff for all the men gathered under the awning to eat.
Now let me ask you this. If everything was so kosher with the production staff and studio why did it take so long for SD to be released? What was the issue there? You seem to be the insider with the know. Ask your uncle. Maybe he could as Sarah since they are so tight.

I think it’s a little too farfetched to think that she looked for videos; spotted a guy taking photos, then describes him here to win trust (the only explanation to why she could describe the guy, or she has actually seen him).. Like I said, I don’t know either one of you, but I’ve seen Texas’s posts here and she doesn’t come off as someone crazy who would do that..
Isn’t it possible that both No Way’s uncle and Texas have been on set and just never met? I don’t think Texas/uncle have eyes in their backs, so they don’t see/remember everyone that is around on set. Both stories seem the same generally speaking, just some details don’t add up, but isn’t that because we are speaking of 2 different people’s memories, perceptions, workareas (1 doing stills/1 doing insurancestuff). Also, the set is big (I assume, never been there, I wish, I would have kidnapped Askars, but thats a whole different story, xD) and both uncle and Texas have worked there multiple days, maybe not even the same days. No day on a set is the same and both people were focussed on different areas in the movie/set. So why can’t both stories be true? Both stories seem very plausible to me, so why can’t they both be true?:P

D. As for my employers concerns about the sets or safety concerns that is none of your business and not something I am going to put out for public knowledge. Why I spent 3 days there or why the company wanted me there 3 days and gave me the assignments is neither your business or mine. I go where I am told and do what I am ask and I get paid. I have given you many details that should suffice.
E. As for my setting up shots, what would you have me do? Tell them, “There is a safety concern I want to photograph so Kate I need you to move over here so I can get a clear shot of it.” I might as well wear a big sign around my neck that says INSURANCE INSPECTOR.
F. I was the last one dropped off in the evening and I did my report on the trip and uploaded the shots for the day on the trip. The driver stayed nearby. Each trip was different as each start point was different. I can’t tell you how far either place was from my hotel. If I had to guess I would say the house set was about 30 to 40 minutes. But that is an estimate with all the stops and traffic.
G. The lunch was the last day I was there. I was interviewing that day and did not watch filming. The first day was the water incident and they were setting up a pick up scene that did not make the film when she ask for water. It was the end of the daylight.
H. As for Rod Lurie my opinion is from my own dealing with him, my interviewing other people working with him and friends and contacts I have in the biz. But that has nothing to do with my experience with Kate so lets just agree to disagree and drop it.
Now I have given you many details on many things. And the only thing you can come up with about the long wait for release of the film is that they have a ‘huge’ slate of films. Try again. And how would you know how long it would take to shoot the bear trap scene? You would have stated it differently if your uncle had told you. You make very definite statements usually. @TEXAS SWEDE: Your story tells a lot about Ms. Bosworth. I can see it. I work in a field where I have to keep my true position in the company secret and it is hard to do. And even harder to try to explain it to my girlfriend. Lest she say something she should not in front of someone.
And I think I can tell you the three actors you were sent to check out. Kate and James Marsden were in the bear trap part of the movie. But I do not remember them being on the roof. Marsden was on a ladder next to the roof but not on it. And Kate was never on it.
James woods was in parts of the movie done in a bar and near a football field. I cannot remember him ever being inside the house. But he was there the night of the battle. So I think he might be the third.
@No Way: I find your third party rebuttal rather lacking. You have still not answered his/her questions. You say your uncle is tight with the publicist and still friends with the director, could he not find out from one of them what held the release back so long? Has he been able to identify the mystery man in the video? I find Texas Swede has given plenty of detail to be credible.

The term you referred to, Day Out of Days, isn’t familiar to me. However I do keep a daily journal of my activities when on a job. It is part of my report.

@Texas Swede: Where do I start? I have the information you’ve been waiting for. The man in the video is Alik Sakharov, the Director of Photography for SD. You can also see him at about the 1:00 mark in the video link you posted. He’s 50 and he’s not at all heavy. He wore a jacket and hat the day of filming in the swampy area because of environmental conditions, i.e. mosquitos, etc. That wasn’t his usual garb. Because of the complexity of the shot, he was taking stills that day to access his shot. That also isn’t the norm. To anyone who has worked on film sets, there’s an obvious distinction between the dp and the still photographer. Nobody and I mean nobody would get the two confused. The still photographer doesn’t get behind the cameras used for filming, doesn’t set up the shot, doesn’t confer with the director, doesn’t work with the camera crew. The only reason why you thought you had found video of the still photographer is because all you saw was the youtube video footage. You were never on set.
Day Out of Days is the shooting schedule people get who are in some way associated with the film. For example, if the insurance company needed to know when a certain scene is to be shot, the production company would provide a Day Out of Days. They don’t even call them schedules. You would have been given a copy and it says Day Out of Days on the top of every page. The color of the paper changes with every revision. The other truth is, insurance companies don’t send representatives to film sets to ascertain if a shot is safe. I understand some people have specialty insurance (Jamie Lee Curtis insured her legs for a million bucks) through companies like Lloyds of London but nobody on SD had that type of insurance. Even if they did, the insurance company wouldn’t have sent a rep to set.
I realize it wasn’t really necessary to disprove your allegations because it’s already been done but I told you I’d come back with the info you wanted.
@No Way: Thank you for answering my question at last. But you are wrong in some areas. The gentleman did wear the same jacket the first evening I was there and was taking pics also. I described him from one of the photos I took while there. The mosquitoes are bad all around that part of the country not just by the water. I never claimed to know about film sets. I would not know one job from another unless I was introduced to the person and told what their job was and had them describe the job to me. But I saw that gentleman on 2 different occasions taking pictures.
As for your statement that none of the actors on SD had that type of insurance, I never claimed they did. It is apparent you know nothing about the insurance business. Have you ever heard of Life insurance or Disability insurance? Do you have it on any of your credit cards to pay your bills in case you get hurt? Well celebrities have it too. But being high profile sometimes they have special clauses in their policies. Clauses like not doing their own stunts. KB’s brags about doing her own stunts on WW was a red flag to the company I do work for. I thought the brag about the tree thing was about it too but I guess I was wrong. And they had 2 other clients in the film so they felt it was worth it to check it out. I was never there to catch the film company doing something wrong but to observe the actors and inspect the areas they were working in and props they were working with. As I said before my findings showed nothing for them to worry about. But I find it odd that a woman who bragged about doing her own stunts in WW needed 2 stunt doubles in SD. The only scene she needed a double for was the car accident. And yes they do send reps to the sets just no one knows who they are.
As for your Days out of Days explanation I told you the office tells me where and when to go. I received no shooting schedule. I got an itinerary, my plane ticket, rental car info, and hotel arrangement from the home office.
I was there. It happened. Nothing you accuse me of, try to rationalize, or run to your uncle about is going to change history.
The one thing that will not change is that KB stans still cannot come up with one positive trait she has to give society. Just one.
@Texas Swede: Come on, come on, come on – the DP is behind the camera. Duh? You can’t be on set for a moment and not know the difference between the still photographer and the DP. The DP is the cinematographer for crying out loud. If you can’t tell the difference, I don’t know what to tell you. The still photographer doesn’t work the cameras used for filming! People aren’t reporting to the still photographer. You slipped up when you said Kate was unharnessed in a tree and that’s why you had to investigate SD. Now you’re putting your spin on it. The only time they filmed at night at the house was shooting “the siege”. When a story is false and people have a way of getting accurate information, you’re going to lose. You lost. Your findings — that’s hilarious. You had no finding, you weren’t there, you’re trying to pull a fast one on posters at JJ.
Life/Disability insurance companies DO NOT send investigators to movie sets. Common sense alone tell you that. One of my relatives races sailboats. Do you think his life/disability insurance company sends someone out to inspect a boat before a race?! Kate wasn’t involved in stunt in the scene you claim you had to investigate, she was sitting in a chair in a corner. She never handled nor was she expected to handle the bear trap.
The production company would have given you a Day Out of Days if you were to be there three days.
I don’t follow celebrities the way you do. I got involved here because you claimed you were the still photographer working on SD. Then you changed it a bit to someone taking still pictures. Even that’s a weird spin. I can’t tell you what Kate has given to society. I can’t tell you what your Alexander Skarsgard has given to society. I can tell you I hear they’re both incredibly nice people.

I do not know who does what jobs on a film. I was not paying to what others were doing. I never saw anyone going to the picture guy with questions nor did I see him behind the camera. My focus was the actors and what was around them. And I did not spend the whole day watching them film one scene.
As for your racing relative, I can guarantee every time he races in a registered race there is an inspector in attendance. There is one for every boat or crewman insured. Not an investigator, they are the ones that come in after something goes wrong. And if their boat is ever foul and damaged by another boats wrong doing or a crewman hurt by the same thing, they will be very glad. For they will have the best witness for court to make the other peoples insurance pay and keep theirs from canceling theirs. With every post you show just how little you know about the workings of insurance companies.
I have never claimed to be in the know about movie making. There is no reason I should know these things you keep bringing up. My time was spent focused on doing what I needed to do. The 2 incidences happened in the course of me doing my job. Like it or not, believe it or not, it happened.

You would have seen Alik Sahkarov behind the movie camera just as he is in your video. In fact, had you been there, you would have recognized him in the i minute frame of the video you posted more so than later in the video. You claim you saw him, knew what he was wearing, saw him take his jacket off, watched him take pictures, you went on and on and yet you didn’t recognize him when you had a clear shot of him in the video? Please don’t insult me. And your remark about Kate wanting to open the bear trap is laughable. You’re grasping at straws! You should leave it alone before you dig yourself into a deeper hole. Remember, the cast and crew of SD are a close-knit group and I have access to a lot of information.
As for an inspector at a boat race, does he identify himself or is he sleuthing? All that you’re saying is ridiculous.
@No Way: I know you claim to have an insider who is tight with the crew and cast. And I also know you have a way of asking questions to get the answers you want and not always the truth. And I know you have a way of twisting the answers to say what you want.
For example: You kept arguing I said the ASPCA would have someone there the day of the filming of the ‘dead cat scene. What I actually said was, “Anyone can tell you someone from them or another organization like theirs was there with the “hung Cat” scene. And the opening deer kill scene.” That simply means some one from there would have come checked it out to make sure they were using animatronics or props.

As for other inspectors no they do not reveal themselves. it is all done incognito. I don’t know what type of work you do but do they have periodic inspections there? Most workplaces where they regular inspections and the bosses know they are coming do a cover job to get ready. Extra cleanup, requesting employees to dress their best on certain dates, scheduling the best performers when the inspectors are going to be there, coaching employees on how to answer questions and even on what questions to play dumb and defer to management. No one gets a clear picture of what is really going on that way. That is why I go in unknown. Usually under the guise as a friend of the producer.
Yes I saw the man take his jacket off. He still had his hat on. I did not get a good look at his face. I was not next to him at all. In the pic I have he has the jacket and hat on.
I am not insulting you. I am simply stating you were not there. You may have contacts that were but so was I. And you were not. But you are very good at twisting words to your own purpose.
@Tulip: I have no crush. I have stated on many occasions I admire the young man for his talent and the person he is. I will comment on how nice he looks on occasion. That does not mean I have a crush on him. My Lord girl I am one year younger than his mother and had a brother just 4 years older than him. It creeps me out just to think about being interested in him in a physical way. I prefer men older than myself.
My dislike of Kate has nothing to do with him. They were not together when I met her. I disliked her before she took up with him.
Go ahead and dislike me. There is no law or rule that says you have to like everyone. But I need no ones pity. Save that for the needy and use it to get yourself involved in a group that helps people, or animals, or the planet. Pity can be a useful tool instead of a wasted emotion. So don’t waste it on me. I have no need of it.

One more thought, Alik Sakharov is not overweight. Not at all. Had you really been on set and had seen him with his jacket off, you’d know that.
That is what I mean about twisting words around. You do realize the day includes both morning and evening. I don’t know when he put the jacket back on. I was not around him the entire day. It did start to cool off in the evening. And for his height Mr. Sakharov is a little overweight.
As for the ‘behind the camera’ stuff, which camera? And I don’t mean the still camera or the movie camera. I mean which movie camera? It has been my experience on sets I have visited to see multiple cameras filming the same scene from different angles at the same time. And through my photography work I know a couple of photographers who also work as cameramen. One of them has done stills and been a cameraman for the same movie. So how was I to know he (Alik) was any different.

@No Way: I forgot to answer about my name. On another thread there are some clowns posting using my name. Until they go away I am just me. Those that have gotten to know me will recognize me under any name or symbol.
And think about something. If I had not been there and seen Mr. Sakharov in person how do I know how tall he was. How could I get that from a video? What reference point could I have used?

@leelee: You are going to have to be specific. I was on the set for 14 hours the first day. That includes both morning and evening. How is that twisting? I did not answer the question about several or many because it is a stupid question. What number constitutes many? What number constitutes several? The exact number is 15. And I have done 9 music festivals. I only do country music festivals.
When I am working I am not focused on the movie crew doing their jobs. I am focused on what the company has assigned me to look for. I don’t get friendly with them either. I know very little about who does what. I know a few people in the business but my knowledge of it is limited. I thought the man in my picture was a still photographer.
What is twisted about that?

Contradictions:
1. You were watching them film a scene vs. they were setting up a pick up scene.
2. You claim she said you’d be fired before lunch vs. it happened at the end of daylight. When filming begins early in the AM lunch is served way before end of daylight. Lunch has to be served after a certain number of hours. Union rules.

That’s to name a few….
Further comments to show discrepancies in your story:
1. You said you were on set for 14 hours the first day and they were filming the “bear trap” scene. There are a lot of problems with this:
a. Why were you there for 14 hours? In your post #200 you wrote “I was there to insure a prop was used and not the real thing”. Once you determined the bear trap was a harmless prop there was no need for you to be there. I know earlier I mentioned actors on the barn roof and why wasn’t that a concern and you jumped on that. You had to check out the roof too (although you hadn’t mentioned it earlier). Still, that doesn’t take 14 hours.
b. In your post #202 you said “When the water issue came up Kate was finished for the day. ” Impossible! Kate was not released early. None of the actors in the scene were dismissed early. They were all needed for the entire scene as they were all in the shots. BTW, the scene took days to shoot.
c. I go back to if you were on set for 14 hours as you claim, you’d know who the cinematographer was. It would have been very apparent Alik was the DP and not a still photographer. He was sitting behind the big camera. You can’t miss him especially if you’re on set for 14 hours! Nobody would have to explain his job. It’s obvious. I can’t believe you even argue this point. It’s so stupid. And to add to the ridiculousness of it all you’re saying you’ve worked on 15 movie sets. And yet you can’t identify the cinematographer?? It’s not like the DP’s job needs explanation!
2. Regarding your work you wrote ” And what would be the purpose of announcing the visit and giving folks time to hide violations. They work by surprise” You also explained the Exec Producer knew who you were. So he was going to protect your identity and set up his production company for a potential violation? That makes perfect sense (not). Again, insurance companies don’t send super sleuths to film locations to spy on production companies. If there’s some sort of violation to a contract, the insurance companies are not held responsible.
3. As for the third day you were allegedly on set, the infamous lunch day with your daughter, your post 157 you wrote “She was with me when I did still shots on set. ” But you also said in post 166 “The third I spoke to 3 of the actors who are insured by the company that hired me.” And in post 205 you wrote “The lunch was the last day I was there. I was interviewing that day and did not watch filming.” So were you interviewing or taking still shots for safety measures on set?
4. The list goes on and on. And let’s not forget the BB (big blunder) – the tree stunt sending up red flags! Nevermind that stunt was done post SD!
5. You claim you keep all your records. Care to give me the dates you visited the SD sets?
I forgot to answer the question how would you know Alik’s approximate height. From the video and comparing his height while standing or sitting next to other men, I would also guess his height to be average. I would have also thought he was not obese but overweight with that bulky jacket. Had I seen him in person with the jacket off, I’d know otherwise. Get my point?
You’re not as clever as you think but you are tenacious. You refuse to give up your stupid story even though it’s now causing you ridicule by other posters.
@No Way: When I first posted my experience with Kate I did not do a minute by minute, day by day, word by word, journalistic encounter. Some things are generalizations. Such as the statement about taking my daughter with me when I went to take stills. My daughter was with me all 3 days. And I did take pics on all 3 days. Had to look like I was taking memento shots like any celebrity crazed producers family member would. The driver was the only one other than the producer who knew I visited the other set sites.
As for Mr. Sakharov’s height I did not guess. My daughter is 5′ 10″. That one is easy to answer. I do not know what you consider overweight but love handles and belt below the belly say overweight to me.

I was not there to find any wrong doing on the part of the production company. This a dead horse let it go!
Do you know what underwriters are? It has to do with insurance. It will explain the differences in the different post #164, #185, #200. As I keep giving you more info the more details come forward.
As for her statement about me being fired before lunch I just thought she meant lunch the next day. Sorry I did not elaborate enough on that enough for you.
Now concerning the barn roof. You are the one who said it would be a bigger safety concern. I did not say I checked it out. And I quote from post #205: “C. A greater danger would be the guys up on the roof. Why weren’t you there for those scenes?***What makes you think the actors I was there for were in that scene? I am going to give you one thing I shouldn’t. Alexander Skarsgard was not one of the actors I was there to check on. Why would you think that I did not check out the barn set while I was there? You are grasping at straws.” I ask a question. I never said I checked it out. You have made a lot of mistakes in reading and interpreting What I have said.
I never said KB was released early that first day. You said that. I said she was through for the day. Since Mr. Sakharov was outside with us that would mean filming was not going on at that time. Right? So how can I be lying about that?
Now I told you earlier that the companies reasons were none of your business or mine. I was instructed to concentrate on KB and to casually observe the other two while on set. To look for any set or prop concerns and any stunt violations that would violate the actors policies. (Not the production companies but the actors.) And to interview through casual conversation each one of the three.
I was given no reason. I never am unless there is a mega concern and an investigator waiting to fly in. I made an assumption and because of it I made a mistake. I assumed the bragging about doing her own stunts on WW got back to the company. When I saw the video about the tree with no harness I thought it was about WW also. I apologize for that. I never followed KB until my experience with her.
And you are right this is causing me ridicule and pain. I could just disappear from this site, change my name, and come back as someone else and not worry about it but I am not built that way. My name means something to me. It is a matter of honor. My experience happened. That is why I do not like her. There more things that happened those three days that influenced me also. My teenage daughter was a fan of hers. To see her so crushed caused me more pain than this will ever do.
@Texas Swede/Crew Member: The funniest and most warped of all you’ve shared, other than the time line f*ck up, is that you claim to be a still photographer who’s worked on 15 movie sets and spent 3 days on SD, 14 hours the first day and you couldn’t tell the difference between a still photographer and the cinematographer! Over 24 hours and no rebuttal. What gives. I have another question. Who is the other gentleman who is in the video early on in a dark blue jacket and straw hat with a ponytail of dark hair? He is the one behind the camera most of the time. He is the one who filmed the ‘bear trap scene’ as well.
@Texas Swede: I have a heavy workload at the moment. My response is going to be quick. You continue to contradict yourself in saying you weren’t there to find any wrongdoing but you couldn’t let your identity be known. Why not? Also, the water before lunch explanation that you thought Kate meant lunch the next day is just dumb. When an actor is through for the day they’re released. That’s the term used when an actor is through for the day. In an earlier post you said your purpose for being on set the day of shooting the “bear trap” scene was to check a prop to be sure it didn’t pose a danger. You didn’t say you had to inspect the barn roof. I’m the person who brought that up. It’s laughable to think you were privy to a conversation Kate had with Rod Lurie regarding the bear trap scene. You stated as a matter of fact the reason for your going to the SD set was because of Kate shooting a dangerous stunt in a tree for WW. Once you realized the time line didn’t work, you changed it to an assumption. My guess is the man with the dark ponytail is a camera assistant but I’ll find out for certain when I have the opportunity. When they’re filming a scene, the DP is behind the big camera. In fact, if you spent 3 days on SD and you’ve been on 15 movie sets (that’s a lot), you’d know the difference between camera assistants, camera operators, and cinematographers. It’s very apparent. Do you want to give me the dates you were there? I have the schedule available to me. All the info is in the Day Out of Days.
Why are you doing this? You’re setting yourself up for more embarrassment and humiliation. I know you know my info is accurate.
@No Way: I apologize for the delay getting back to you. It was my daughters last day at home yesterday and I spent it with her, She left a couple of hours ago.
A.You keep trying to twist the reason for keeping my identity secret. I stated I was not there to find any wrong doing on the part of the production company more than once because you kept bringing it up. I never stated I was not there to find wrong doing on the actors part.
B. You have a right to your opinion to think an answer was dumb. You weren’t there. You did not here the facetious tone in her voice. Or see the glare in her eyes. I did. People make strange threats when their believed superiority is denied.
C. As for the difference in ‘released’ and ‘through for the day’, are you really arguing that point? I am not an expert on ‘correct terms’ as you put it. I phrase things my own way in my own words. But since Mr. Sakharov was outside at the time with the camera in his hand I think I was correct in saying she was not filming anymore that day.
D. There were others that heard the exchange between KB and RL concerning the bear trap. It was not a private conversation and I just happen to be within a couple feet of where it was taking place.
E. I have told you I was not privy to the reason I was sent there. You were so adamant about why they wanted me there I tried to figure one out and made an assumption. I was only given instructions on what to do. I have apologized for making an assumption and the mistake about confusing the Bruno video for one about WW. Again I am sorry for that. I am woman enough to admit when I do something wrong. But again you do not quote me correctly. I said that word got back to he company about her doing her own stunts on WW and used the tree stunt as an example. I did not say it was because of just the tree stunt. That is what I mean about you using things out of context. You use only the part of the statement that you want and not what it really was.
G. As for me not knowing the difference between the cinematographer or any other type of camera operator, why should I? My focus while I am there is whatever I am assigned for that job. I have inspected pyrotechnic crews(no camera viewing there), transportation crews, Animal stars(the most enjoyable time I ever had), and one time the land owners of the set were worried the movie people were doing things that would violate their policy and called us in. And the land owner told me he called us not my company. I don’t spend my time concentrating on things that are not pertinent to my reports. And sometimes I am not incognito. It depends on the job.
It would also be very naive to think I would spend 14 hours watching them film the same scene over and over and over… So I was in other areas of the grounds of the house the first day. I was in other rooms of the house. I was offered a ride back to my hotel earlier but wanted to stay after dark to get a feel of what it was like after dark for my report. There are a lot of details not in my first posting.
H. When I dug up my reports to give you an answer about the time from my hotel to the set you came back with…’convient answer’. It was the correct answer. But you would not admit it. When I ask you how I would know Mr. Sakharov’s height without seeing him in person you came back with you would have guessed that too. Wrong. I would have had to have known something of the height of the other men around to have based my guess on. Which means I would have had to seen them also. But that is not where i knew his height from. My daughter is 5’10″ tall and was standing next to him at one time. I was about 5′ behind them. I said about 5’10″ because he had his hat on but they stood shoulder to shoulder with each other.
So for giving you the dates I was there, what will you come back with then? You do know there is a video of an interview out there with Alex where he says they are working with a bear trap that day? You would just say I got it from that or lucky guess.
Now all of this for something you misinterpreted from my first post. Trying to pay me back or something for what you thought to be an attempt to steal credit from your uncle. I NEVER claimed to be the still photographer for SD. I only claimed to shoot some stills on the SD set. I also do video. So I use the words still or video to describe what kind of pics I am or have done. I never meant to take any kind of credit from your uncle in any way.
It happened. No amount of arguing can change history. I know full well you have info available. But I don’t think you interpret it any better than you comprehend what I have written. Not an insult but an observation. I have admitted where I was wrong, are you woman enough to admit you are as well?

Nothing I say is going to convince you that my experience is true. But you were not there. You have your uncles notebook but he was not everywhere 24/7. He cannot without a doubt say I was not there. I told you in the beginning I was not introduced to him.
