The song is off of Rita‘s upcoming album AM/FM, which is an intimate, elegant and beautifully sung collection of classics from the ’60s and ’70s that together, make up the soundtrack to her life.
Rita will go on a short tour to support the album, which hits stores on May 8. She will be making stops across California and will play one show in New York City.

UM, JO…I think You are the kid, lol. If she’s ripping off Juice Newton, whose version of this song I personally can’t stand, then that means Juice ripped off the band that originally did it in, what, the 60′s? Sounds to me like you just don’t like Rita.
I like Rita’s versoion, surprised she has that nice voice, and, no there is no “appropriate” age at which to start making music. Anytime is fine!
OMG, I just found out that this song has been put on the charts by more than 10 diff. artists, that’s a lot of “ripping off”, Jo!
A singer named Merilee Rush had the original – and best – version of Angel Of The Morning back in 1968. Then Juice Newton had another big hit with it in 1981. If Rita Wilson was not married to Tom Hanks, I doubt that we would be hearing her version at all.

She has a great pop voice. Susan Boyle started a music career later in life and tours all over the world.
Her voice isn’t terrible, but that video is. What was their budget, $100? Someone needs to get a spatula to that eye make up – stat. And burn that hideous hat.
