Ryan Eggold: Drag in 'Queen' - Exclusive!

Ryan Eggold goes drag in these stills from his new short Queen, provided exclusively to JustJared.com.

The 27-year-old 90210 actor takes on the role of transgendered drag queen and cabaret star Nikki Holiday who wants more than anything to adopt a child. She’s beat outside the theater and feels as though she’s hit rock bottom. Through mentorship of a young bouncer, Nikki realizes that you don’t have to be a parent to be motherly.

The film, directed by Adam Rose, will be screened at the USA Film Festival in Dallas before having its UK premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Check out a clip from the film below and head on over to Queen‘s Facebook page for more info!

    @Kim:

    I disagree 100%. I just saw this film at the Palm Springs Short Film Fest. and of tonight’s film, this was easily the best film and the best acted film. Mr Eggold played this role perfectly, and really deserves more recognition for this performance.
