OlderZoe Saldana Talks Babies with Amanda de Cadenet
Zoe Saldana leaves Catch restaurant after having dinner on Sunday (April 29) in New York City.
The 33-year-old recently appeared on The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet where she opened up about kids and starting her own family.
“I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids … I dig them, I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child makes perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time,” Zoe shared (via Zap2It).
“I felt the urge to want to have a baby, and I wanted to, but I remember that respecting [then-fiance Keith Britton's] decision – and making the decision to wait with him – was one of the most mature things. I chose to wait and I’m glad I did,” she added. “I’m glad that I respected him.”

I’m not sure what the context of this interview was, but nonetheless, it’s refreshing to see a woman of color in Hollywood having such an honest and thought-provoking discussion.
A little rambling? Yes. But to me, that’s how you know it comes from her heart. When you’re passionate about something, sometimes words just rush out of you. Not everything comes out organized and pre-packaged.

I saw this show…it wasn’t rambling it was a fun thought provoking conversation between 2 girlfriends. It was as if they forgot the camera were there. I love the show and the interview. It made me like Zoe even more.
