OlderAnna Paquin Talks Bisexuality & Teeth with 'Zooey'
Anna Paquin rocks a Dina Bar-El dress on the cover of Zooey‘s April/May issue.
Here’s what the 29-year-old actress shared with the mag (the photo shoot took place right before she announced she was pregnant):
On being bisexual: “I’m sure for some people saying they’re bisexual feels less scary than making a statement that they’re gay. For me, it’s not really an issue because I’m someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. It’s not made up. It’s not a lack of decision. It’s not being greedy or numerous other ignorant things I’ve heard at this point. For a bisexual, it’s not about gender. That’s not the deciding factor for who they’re attracted to.”
On insecurities being in Hollywood: “Interestingly enough, I don’t really care about my teeth, but I think any woman on this planet could say, ‘I wish my ass was smaller, my arms were thinner and I had green eyes not brown.’ I think anyone is as critical as they have the energy to self-obsess, but I also know as an actress you are more limited if you interfere with your looks. If you have a whole bunch of work done with your teeth and your face and your boobs then you’re only going to play modern people. That’s a big choice to make. Very limiting.”

Someone like Megan Fox should listen to what Anna says about interfering with your looks.
I agree with everything she said. I think there are lots of people that fall in love with the person and not their gender. She’s gorgeous and I’m so happy for her and Stephen and their baby on the way :)

@Nina: Actually my first time was with the guy I’m still with 2 years later. It’s quite ignorant to think that I’m promiscuous because I believe people should be able to freely love other people without jerks like you judging them.

@Nina: It’s the use of the word “promiscuous” that gets me – who uses it anymore? And, side note, how many people does it take to be promiscuous? Is 10 one-gender partners it? How about a 100? And how about 1 of each? Is that enough? Also, can you quote me some literature on those numbers? I’m fascinated.
@frisbee: I can’t give you an exact number, obviously. That’s a personal decision. I’m not a prude, but I’ve never had a one night stand and I think anyone who has should reevaluate their self worth. That goes for men, women, straight or gay. I’m not religious, but I do think one should have somewhat deep feelings for a person before they are intimate.
I don’t even know where to start with the disaster that is your post. So I’ll just say – good luck with your personal life, however many self-reevaluations should that (hopefully) take.

That was such a great preview of her shoot. She is truly beautiful, talented and very smart. She knows who she is and doesn’t apologize for it and she shouldn’t ever have to. I am so happy for her and her husband as I am sure they will be having many beautiful babies… :)

Anna is truly beautiful and intelligent. IMHO . My thoughts are that some people find these personal traits intimidating and hence the negative comments.
