Lana Del Rey - Met Ball 2012
Lana Del Rey hits the red carpet at the 2012 Met Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 7) in New York City.
The 25-year-old singer wore a Joseph Altuzarra dress to the annual gala.
Lana walked the red carpet with the designer, who said the look is the “embodiment of her music”. We love it!
This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition – is co-chaired by Carey Mulligan, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and designer Miuccia Prada.

she looks so sullen. a red lip would’ve worked better.
F*cking sweet!
Stunning!
whatever look she was going for is a fail
She looks drugged up.
Oh, honey. No.
I love this one, this one was custom made for her. She looks like a vampire princess or something. I like the dress, I didn’t mind the cape. I really love this look
o_O there is something beautiful but in the same time there is also something wrong
I agree with @rada, red lip woulda been better! She looks like a witch with the cape… just missing her hat and a broom.
Love everything but the lip color.
reminiscent of gwynneth in white tom ford at the oscars, but uglier
she is SO pretty but I hate the vampire look on her
Am I the only one who noticed her lips are smaller now?
ooo- maybe HAndsome Ed Westwick or Chase will fall for pretty Lana. I can see her with one of those guys! And they would probably like her she is so pretty
Lana Del Rey looks dreamy-eyed, like from another century. The gown suits her perfectly, a little goth, a little metal, yet flowy and romantic.
Not a fan of the look (hate goth) but her face is just so beautiful- a true beauty compareable to some of the great beautiful women in history. (her story)
she looks like a vampire :( without that black cape her look would be better
Love the dress! Hate the lipstick!
Her lip injections have finally started to deflate
The dress is extraodinary but the cape looks silly, hides the dress and her great figure.
the dress is ok but the cape, is unnecesary and the make-up failed
