Alicia Keys and Janelle Monae arrive in style to the 2012 Met Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 7) in New York City.
The two ladies both rocked black suits! Alicia, 31, was joined at the event by her hubby Swizz Beatz. “It’s only fun when I can do it with the love of my life!!;-)” Alicia tweeted that day, with a picture of her and Swizz in their outfits.

Janelle recently congratulated all the grads out there. “Congrats to all who are graduating! Don’t forget to kiss your parents or those who helped push you and sacrificed for you along the way,” she tweeted.

I think you should rethink their thinking. Alicia looks great here. Not many women could look so elegant in slacks or dress pants. She looks better than most of the women there with their fancy dresses. Love her look.
