Rafael Nadal: Alma Nadal Charity Match!

Rafael Nadal is all smiles at the Alma Nadal charity math presentation held at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Monday (May 7) in Madrid, Spain.

Late last month, the 25-year-old Spanish tennis champ made history by winning the 2012 Barcelona Open. His latest title made him the first player in the Open Era to win two tournaments seven times!

“This is the hardest match I had on clay court this season, David [Ferrer] always takes you to the limit,” Rafa told Spanish state TV after the match (via ESPN). “A bit of it was lottery, luck fell on my side today.”

It´s so strange that in US there are only a few of the celebrities outside the country that people know about. Nadal, Federer, Zidane, C.Ronaldo and the British royalties are basically the only ones you know about. It still amazes me every single day how ego centric the Americans really are. I am so happy to be living in Europe where I get to know Ibrahimovic, Benzema, Higuain, Boateng etcetera etcetera. Unfortunately these where the only ones I could think of at this moment there are many more examples.

I am not saying it´s only about footballers and other celebrities but things in general as well. And also the fact that you give yourselves the opportunity to laugh at people who speak English as second language (sometimes even third and fourth). Everything is not about your, there is a world outside that is much better and I thank God everyday I wasn´t born in the US.
Thank you and have a wonderful day
