Carey Mulligan & Marcus Mumford: Newlyweds at Met Ball!

Carey Mulligan steps out a day after the 2012 Met Ball on Tuesday (May 8) in NYC.

The 26-year-old actress served as one of the event’s co-chairs, along with Vogue editor Anna Wintour and designer Miuccia Prada.

Carey walked the red carpet solo in a metallic Prada dress, but left the gala holding hands with hubby Marcus Mumford.

The two tied the knot late last month on a farm in Somerset, England, in front of about 100 family and friends. The guest list also included celeb pals Sienna Miller, Colin Firth, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
