Florence Welch Feels 'Quite Powerful' on Stage

Florence Welch wears a blue ensemble while leaving her hotel on Tuesday (May 8) in New York City.

The day before, the 25-year-old Florence + the Machine singer attended the Met Ball after taping an interview with Nightline anchor Cynthia McFadden.

“[The stage is] an area where I’m comfortable being, or just looked at for sort of what you’re doing – songs,” Florence shared on the program. “It makes you feel quite powerful.”

As for writing the theme song for Snow White and the Huntsman, “One of my favorite things I’ve ever done was recording that song,” Florence said about “Breath of Life.”

“It’s one of those sort of ‘pinch yourself’ moments,” she added.

I love Florence + The Machine and I know it’s weird to say this but when I listen to their music it’s like I am having a really good exorcism. Creepy, I know but true….
