Dianna Agron's Last Day on 'Glee'

Lea Michele gives Cory Monteith a big hug while filming the season finale of Glee on Wednesday (May 9) in Los Angeles.

Darren Criss, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Jayma Mays, Mark Salling, Matthew Morrison, and Naya Rivera shot scenes where their characters said goodbye to Rachel (Michele) as she takes a train and leaves Finn (Monteith).

Once on set, Dianna tweeted, “last day.”

“On set now shooting,” Lea tweeted. “It’s my second to last day of filming season 3! Tomorrows gonna be so sad!”

After the shoot wrapped, Dianna added, “I don’t know all that is to come, but I know what a day like this means. Four years of love, light & support. To the cast, crew & creators. And to all of you that have shown your love along the way. We just can’t thank you enough. This has always been a very surreal experience. X”

The Glee finale airs on Tuesday (May 22) at 8/7c on Fox.

:( I despised Quinn from the beginning but love, LOVE Dianna Agron! She’s a great actress and it’s so sad if she doesn’t return next year. But honestly I rarely watch Glee anymore so…..but will def continue to support Dianna. Cause she’s awesome!

# 2

yeay Dianna and Naya,,Unholy Trinity is the awesomest thing that happen in Glee,,never watch it from Season 2 but always love Dianna..guess she’s taken the right decision to leave it and do something better..

# 3

NOOOOOOOOO Rachel can’t leave Finn!!!! Hehe, it’s probably a storyline they have going for the finale episode. Finn and Kurt are going to head to NYC to be with Rachel once Season 4 begins! Or maybe even at the last scene of the finale episode. :)

Cory looks super hot in the first pic!

# 5

mmmm Mark salling!!

@bochakuw: She is under contract the producers decide if she comes back or not. Fans are delusional if you thing they get to choose.

i love Dianna and Quinn, it’s so sad to see her leaving my all time favorite show!

Yay! I love Cory and Lea! #FinchelForever :)

I’m quite sure she’ll be better off in the future.

Wow look at Santana, she’s so hot!!!

Yes, she really looks happy to leave her boyfriend behind! NOT. I really want them to be in NYC together.

oooh Naya Rivera sooo hot!

If season 4th is focus on Finchel that for sure will be the last season of Glee. Majority of people hate that couple, after they transformed it in an unhealthy relationship. And with main actors gone the ratings would be worse than the 6 millions they have now. Glee can’t survive with the fangirls of finchel only. And the best example is that they lost 3 millions of viewers just this season. the rest of the fans who aren’t finchel fans will gone for sure next season.

Ugh, I’m so sick of hearing this. The majority of people do not hate Finchel. This opinion is being thrown around as fact by small pockets of fans of the other characters on Tumblr and Twitter, who are just jealous of the screen-time and attention the leads get. I’ll agree that the characters haven’t always been written very well, but what characters have on Glee. Everybody has flaws.

The general viewing audience still love them. Lea’s & Cory’s twitter mentions after the Prom episode aired proves this. As does the fact that Finchel was the #1 world-wide trend during the episode, while ‘Rachel and Finn’ was also trending. Go watch Glee Live again and listen to the scream levels. Obsessed fangirls account for a very small percentage of the 6+ million viewing audience so please don’t go around making sweeping statements like ‘the majority of people hate Finchel’ when everybody can see that this isn’t true. Step outside of your little fandom bubbles.

Wow, thanks for the spoiler alert! Moron.

Rachel/Broadway is my OTP! #FinchelForNEVER

Heh, Darren looks great there, love that shirt. I love Quinn and though Di is not a stellar actress by any means, I think she did well with the role. I will certainly miss her but she has the looks to do really well in the future even if she never becomes a big star. Good luck girl, all the best!

@MARI:

I’m not a “fan” of any of the characters, but I can’t stand Finchel anymore. They were cute in season one and interesting in season two. Now, they are just annoying. I like the actors, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t like this couple anymore and to tell the truth, if the show is all about them and Kurt next season, then I’m done with the show. And trust me, that’s not an unpopular opinion. Glee has been doing terribly in the ratings, and even the songs, that for the last two season made it to number one on itunes, are barely making it to the top ten anymore. The show went from having 11 million viewers on the first season to 6 million (on their best days) and just hit a series’ low with their, wait for it, finchel centric episode of saturday night glever. So, either the finchel fans are not tuning in to watch or there are not so many finchel fans left.

Also, it’s easy to trend when during half of the episode they have the #finchel on the bottom of the screen. Fox is doing everything in their hands to promote this couple and the truth is that it seems to be having the opposite effect. What glee needs right now are better writers and continuity. Stop the senseless publicity and concentrate on bringing the show back to it’s roots.

Haters gonna hate! FinchelForever!!!

@Mari First your saying it’s wrong that people who don’t like Finchel say it’s a fact that most people hate them then you state a fact saying most people love them with twitter as your only source lol.
We haven’t gotten a fair chance to love any other couple involving Finn and Rachel since the couple is forced down our throats.

What most people think is the couple Finchel, more behind the story that people do not look, which is a series Glee and musical history has to be shaped according to the music each chapter takes a week or more
be filmed.
And the musical talent of some players is questionable, so Lea is on left
before the other actors, being necessary to the story revolve around her and her passions, ambitions and overruns.
Chris and Amber also has a knack own and hope they continue in the 4th
season.
Glee is not a love story but speaks of the differences, discrimination, and
mainly about music, is excluded from a school musical.
The talent of Lea is unquestionable.

@mary: Glee was the top rated in the young demographic for 18-35 year olds which is a huge coup for Fox so before you throw around accusations like that you should understand that. It is still a huge draw for advertisers and has excellend +7 days veiwers who watch on DVR. As for the accusation it is ‘Finchel’s fault’ there has been a decline: actually assessing the weeks where they have been prominent, the following week gets a bounce-back. Unfortunately, eps which heavily feature ‘Klaine’ have a damaging impact.

Even the critics who used to love finchel are hating them. Not just the fans. How is possible that Rachel a loveable and will character with big dreams transformed in a pathetic girl for a loser like Finn. She was willing to quit her dreams to go with Finn to clean pools to LA.
If that’s just one example of how bad this couple is. And doesn’t help the bad acting of Cory, who only have two expression in her face for every scene: Happy, angry, sad, kissing, etc. Too bad they didn’t cast Darren as Finn instead of Cory, at least we would have someone with talent in the main couple,

Glee is in big trouble if they indeed are gonna focus on Finchel for next season. People hate them more than ever. It doesn’t matter if they trend during an episode, that’s only because of the fangirls of the couple, the only ones left.
Just note that for the entire season 3 they were together as a couple and didn’t break up, and what happened? , the ratings for episode 1 were 9 millions, last episode 5.9 millions. They lost 3 millions viewers in this season alone focused on Finchel. And all the episodes finchel centric were a failure in the ratings.
Glee is doomed if they stick with this boring and without chemistry couple.
Sorry but they won’t survive only with the fangirls with their #Finchelforever

It’s sad to say but I think all of the characters have run their course, even the ones who weren’t featured much. They were in the same grade level, so they need to graduate. I have to admit I didn’t think much of Dianna/Quins character at first, she had a great story arch the first season and had some very nice scenes, some very moving and touching. I’m still not sure about her comedic timing, but could still see her in a rom-com. I would very much like to see her in a serious, grown-up role.

I think they need to bring in an all new class, and hope they can get lucky with a new group that fans will fall in love with and root for, like they did this group, it’s time to move on!

Can we take a moment and realize why does RIB making Darren Criss as if he was part of the original glee cast? I mean lbr, he isn’t. He’s not that great in singing, totally sucks in acting except when he is constipated, and lacks in the looks department. So I don’t get the hype??

I can’t stand Finn and Rachel. I love Glee but that couple are overhyped and annoying. If they want better ratings, they should stop focusing on this couple!! And can people stop using the word “finchel”…that’s even more annoying

@rory: well clearly that’s not a popular opinion.
