The 33-year-old front man stars as a bespectacled bank worker who saves a co-worker from bank robbers in the Sam Bayer-directed video.

“The video we made for ‘Payphone’ was almost a hundred percent my idea,” Adam told E! News. “I think that writing treatments for videos is the best outlet for [creative writing]. It’s so much fun to tell a story in that way.”
