Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck leave daughter Violet‘s karate class on Friday (May 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The couple was joined by Jen’s parents Patricia and William, who both came out and watched Violet, 6, earn a yellow belt!

Ben recently gave a shout-out to all the mothers in his life. He shared in a new video, “I want to say Happy Mother’s Day to the moms in my life: my mom Chris and my amazing wife Jennifer, who is an incredible, spectacular, world-class mom.”
Watch Ben‘s video below – he raises awareness for the Eastern Congo Initiative, which helps foster opportunities for economic and social development in the war-torn region.

Ok everyone is like nice, nice, cute, how sweet. What I don’t understand is why a mothers day message to your wife has to be public for the world to see. And it’s the same people that will complain about their lives not being private enough, blaming the press and fans for it.

Ben is the one always frowning when they are out and about. Always looking pissed. But he does this. I get that it is “sweet”, but when you give this kind of message why do you need to share it with the world. Tell the “Women in you Life”.
I don’t get why people have this need to share every moment of their lives with the world. Look I love reading and seeing my favorite celebrities. But I don’t need to know what they got for birthdays, or mother’s day or whatever.
Ben opened the door. So he better start smiling pretty for the cameras.

Don’t mess with violet.She will continue earning the next belts. This reminds me of her mom in Alias.
My daughter started karate at around 6 years old. She could break a piece of wood with one hand. She got five belts before she quit. I drove and watched her every class and at home, I had to teach her her forms to get her belts.
