OlderMindy Kaling: 'BJ Novak is My Best Friend and Mortal Enemy'
Mindy Kaling is all smiles as she steps out with no makeup on Thursday (May 10) in New York City.
The 32-year-old actress recently had a project green-lighted by Fox – Mindy will write, produce, and act in her own series.

The project, tentatively titled Mindy, follows a young OB/GYN doctor who has to balance her personal and professional life while surrounded by quirky co-workers in a small office.
Mindy tweeted about this week’s episode of The Office, saying, “Office season finale tonight, written AND directed by my best friend and occasional mortal enemy, brilliant @bjnovak.”

I read her book couple of months ago and it was super funny. A very smart and funny young woman. I’m sure her new show will be a hit.
