The 39-year-old actress – and new face of Boss Black‘s latest fragrance – recently spoke out on the death of The Beastie Boys‘ Adam Yauch.

Her hubby, Chris Martin, paid tribute to the late rapper with a heartfelt cover of “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)” during a recent Coldplay concert in L.A.
“I cried,” Gwyneth told USA Today. “I cried many, many tears.”

I don’t care what you all think of her. I think she is a fantastic actress, A great wife, fabulous mother and a wonderful singer. I don’t understand the hatred. My brother met her and her husband and Jay z and Beyonce at a restaurant and he said they were all nice, friendly, they chatted with him. And Gwyneth was pregnant and not feeling well at the time but she was still a trooper making everyone laugh and smile. I think she’s great.

@Peapo: Unless you know her personally you have no idea what kind of wife and mother she is. And assuming your story is true and not the imagination of a stan, that doesn’t tell much either excerpt how she may have acted on one occasion. I’ve heard plenty of stories with a different viewpoint from people who’ve said they met her.
