OlderBrooklyn Decker: 'I'm Named After a Horse'
Brooklyn Decker glams it up for a feature in Vanity Fair‘s June 2012 issue.
Here is what the 25-year-old What to Expect When You’re Expecting and Battleship actress had to share with the mag:
On her name: “I’m named after a horse. My mom’s best friend had a horse named Brooke, so my dad suggested ‘Brooklyn’ as a more formal version, and it just stuck — and now I live in Brooklyn part-time, so go figure.”
On her figure: “There were countless jobs I didn’t get because of my figure. I wasn’t that successful as a model, ever. I just had a few clients that really embraced my curves.”
On leaving modeling and starting film: “The Sports Illustrated cover was the last thing I shot. That week, I told my agent, ‘You know what, I really… I don’t want to be a model anymore. I really want to do movies.’ And I think he wanted to wring my neck at the moment.”

the funny thing is; is she wasnt getting modeling work when she was a model, lol (I dont consider catalog and sports illustrated legit modeling work..) shes actually gotten more photoshoots and covers since becoming an actress.
Her stories change too much. It all depends who she’s talking to. One day she says she quit modeling (probably to make herself seem like she has some “substance” to her) Then, lo and behold, she’s doing lingerie shoots for GQ.
It just seems like she can’t think for herself…I imagine her with an empty thought bubble over her head, with responses provided to her by her “handlers”. Doesn’t come off as sincere or intelligent.
Enough of this girl already, they keep trying to make her happen as an actress but there’s nothing special about her. She’s average looking at best, great boobs, but curvy body? No. That would be Sofia Vergara. Decker is all flat. Let’s not even mention the “talent” part… The reviews for Battlesh*t are killing her.
CURVES?! Is she serious? You don’t have any curves! And they photoshopped the hell out of her face and body.
That story about how she got her name is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Her parents must be as dim as their daughter.

She should of stayed with her limited modeling career. She is a horrible actress. But she is milking her 15 minutes of fame that is for sure.
She is insufferable…It’s a wonder she and Roddick don’t repel each other like two negative ions…
Photoshopped til they made her ressemble CHARLIZE THERON. BROOKLYN has a nasty chin, look how they changed that and not only!
