OlderShia LaBeouf: Double Duty in Cannes
Shia LaBeouf lands at Cote d’Azur Airport on Thursday (May 17) in Nice, France.
The 25-year-old actor is in town for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival where he’ll be busy promoting two projects.

Shia‘s new film Lawless – co-starring Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, and Mia Wasikowska – will be screened as part of the festival’s competition.
He’ll also be presenting his short film Howard Cantour.com during Critics Week.

WHY SHIA LABEOUF ALWAYS LOOKS LIKE CRAP:
He grew up dirt poor. His father lives off the grid in a teepee and Shia lived with his mom in a tiny apartment in some shady neighborhood in Los Angeles up until around 2006. I think he’s just used to dressing down and hating on the man. The hair, the clothes, the attitude- I think it’s a defense mechanism for him. He’s a very humble person as far as possessions, fashion, attitude, etc. goes and I really don’t think he’s doing it self-consciously. I think it’s a completely unconscious thing that’s ingrained in him.
I love him. So Awesome!
I work with a lot of homeless, and very poor people. Every one of them is kind, gracious, helpful and polite.
A poor upbrimging is no excuse for his obnoxious behavior.
So excited for Lawless!!! Say what you will about Shia and his flaws, he’s an AMAZING actor. I don’t expect anything else from actors, because their only “duty” to me is to entertain me. And Shia is riveting!
