What’s so admirable about these people with all the help they get? I defenitely won’t watch it.

  • Paulie

    Meh. Didn’t watch. Glad I didn’t.

  • Delphic

A bunch of talentless ‘artists’. Except for Alicia and Stevie.

  • Love You Whitney

“and a tribute to the late Whitney Houston by Jordin Sparks and John Legend”
Thought this should be her daughter Bobbi Kristina.

  • Why Ask Me?

Katie totally ripped off The Smashing Pumpkins video ‘Tonight Tonight’! She looked cute but she relies rather heavily on her backing track, while singing live ;D

  • janina

Only performance I actually enjoyed watching was Chris Brown’s, he knows how to put on a good show.

  • janina

And Jordin sung so beautifully! Much better than J.Hud’s tribute at the grammys.

  • BloodbuzzOhio

@janina: You must have low standards.

  • Lona

Despite the good dancing and “show”, Justin Bieber proves once again that he simply can’t sing “Boyfriend” live. So much of embarrassing parts to hear.

  • Princess

Usher sucked, he always lip syncs, as did Chris Brown, it was horrible.

  • RoseMP

What about Natasha Bedingfield’s tribute to Donna Summer?
I’ d really appreciate the video!

  • KissThis

Beiber is a joke. Kelly Clarkson was perfection! Katy Perry used theatrics to TRY and cover up her poor vocals. And miss Carrie Underwood was amazing, yet I did not care for all the theatrics and effects they used on her microphone.

  • Tony

I am definitely NOT a country music fan but I have to admit (grudgingly) that Underwood blew everyone else out of the water last night with her vocals and performance. The song is stuck in my head and I have been singing parts of it all day. I bought it on Itunes. I love it and I am going out today and picking up her album. That girl can sing.

  • Karen

Most people were lip syncing and it was not a good look. Chris Brown didn’t do a good job at all but the production was great. For the people who DID NOT lip sync, I have much respect. These people are real and realize everyone makes mistakes but prove they can really sing. So much respect for them. Alicia, Stevie, Jordan, John Legend, and I suppose a few others. Love that Taylor won Woman of the Year but what she won for, Alicia did years ago and is still doing today.

  • S

I really liked Nelly Furtado’s performance. It’s not her best song but at least she knows how to perform live

  • John

terrible performances..really terrible, most of them in reality relied on studio sound..exempt Stevie Wonder, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks, who really sing live.

  • Mix

Honey, I think you forgot Carrie Underwood.

  • sony

What about Linkin Park…lets be honest..they had one of the best performances of the night…

  • GalPal

Carrie underwood was fantastic! The girl can sing!
