OlderKris Allen: Surprise Performance at The Darby!
Kris Allen stops by The Darby restaurant for a surprise performance on Tuesday (May 22) in NYC.
“I love pop music, but I love pop music that does something a little bit different. It’s not all ‘this is what we should be doing because this is the process of making music,’ it’s ideas and being creative,” the 26-year-old singer recently told USA Today.
“I want my music to feel like I’m giving something to someone else and not that I’m expecting something back,” Kris said, while promoting his new album Thank You Camellia.
“I like singing. I like writing. I like making music with these guys,” he added. “This is all, like, me giving something to other people. If I get something in return – awesome.”

I love the whole album but I just can’t stop listening to Monster.It’s just .amazing.I also, can’t stop listening to the acoustic songs on the fan edition.Kris’s voice is so beautiful on them.

Why is he promoting at a damn restaurant? Is RCA that damn cheap & unfair? I mean Kelly Clarkson is their only artist atm promoting at high profile events. I remember how these b*stards f*ck Avril over last year smh, that’s why she left this sh*thole of a label and moved to Epic Records. I like Kris btw.

I think it was his record release party not actual promo but I do agree he needs more promo from RCA. Kris is so fantastic that more people need to hear his great music on Thank You Camellia!
