if the keep high profile relationship, maybe they can ‘beat’ brangelina fame…
cmon Daniel is really hell damn sexy, and Rachel is really beautiful and talented actress.. who doesnt need more??

    to ira Says:

I know what you mean.. but they lack the motivation to beat Brangelina fame, have no ’ambition’ like that at all. They are a very private person, so I’m convinced that they never want to become like a Brangelina,
    regardless of our own wishes.

Daniel would rfather stick needles in his eyes then become a Danchel. Why do you think, they are so low key,? Because they want to draw as little attention as possible. Bad for us, but good for them :)

    STYLE PROFILE: DANIEL CRAIG
    http://life-of-vi.blogspot.jp/2012/05/style-profile-daniel-craig.html
Why I Love Him: I thought that it was time to bring in a male style icon, so who better than Mr. Bond himself. Compared to other camera-loving stars, the famously private Daniel Craig is hardly photographed, but his great style catches your eye nonetheless! I really love how Craig plays around with fashion accessories, like shoes, hats, belts and bags. In a world of t-shirt-and-jeans men, it’s a refreshing change. I also like that Craig isn’t afraid to dress up. His street style is classy and upscale without looking overdone, while his red carpet style is…well…it’s very James Bond.

Best Style Moment: I think his best red carpet moment was the Tom Ford tuxedo he wore to the 2009 Oscars (top centre). The midnight blue colour, the silk lapels and collar and the white pocket square were the perfect finishing touches to a perfectly elegant tuxedo. In terms of street style, my favourite moment was definitely the grey-blue grandpa sweater and white henley combo he wore in London (bottom centre). Love me a henley. That face doesn’t hurt either…

Worst Style Moment: While I understand the look that he was going for with the denim shirt and red scarf combo he wore to ‘LIVE’ with Regis and Kelly in 2011 (you know, the bohemian-French-artist-who-wears-kooky-scarves look), I just couldn’t get behind the outfit.

Defining Style Attributes: Fitted suits, accent accessories, aviator-style sunglasses, layered clothing and snazzy shoes.

    Talk soon,
    Vi

    Hi-yo FIO!
And Rie–thx for the shout out-thats all I can say–can’t change your mind it sounds like!! but I am glad you see the bottom line on all the movies you listed. If women were in power everywhere, would this be a different world? seriously–would we let our fellow women suffer so much? IDK. mothers whose daughters are still getting circumsized say that it is their turn–its tradition–there is nothing they can do about it? that is instilled by another woman–incredible.

crap, not my blog. i could go on and on and on. Go on, go on, go on, ok!! Drink! Fek!
wow beautiful days here on the east coast–wonder if Dan got some sunshine in.
What do you think of the Whistleblower?
OH–just read a very nice article in the NYTIMES about Naomi Rapace–her ex hubby is a bad guy on Skyfall–everyone probably knows that already–but he is a good looking man. And Naomi is in some great looking movies coming up. nice.
AND—did I read a while ago that Dan is really parachuting onto the Olympic field? And we didnt talk about it here? He is actually going to do that? not his double. and no one is asking about this? ok. that is strategically and security-freaky wild!
so, i got a sunburn and some serious bike-riding and softball in this weekend with the girls–shoulda came across the pond Mendel–whatchu doin???
IMAX theater–Boston for Bond. that is my next looking-forward-to Dan experience. Boston for Bond!!!

    Hi Guinness!

    “Mendel–whatchu doin???”

Mostly lying in the sun. We have a heatwave here right now.

“ohmygash–warm mug o’Dan. yyyyuummmm. in the boob room. wow. tipsy here.”

LOL! Sounds like you are having a great time!

I haven’t seen ‘the Whistleblower’, but will do so when I am in the mood for serious films, right now with our good weather, I fancy some comedy, something nice and light and silly…(and eat pastry ;)

“Run-away with Guinness in the Dan Van we will visit Men-dawl! Fio–wtf you at?? over the pond?”

Yes, come over to the Dark Side! We have good weather for a change! This makes up for our omnishambolic government…

“If women were in power everywhere, would this be a different world? seriously–would we let our fellow women suffer so much?”

Yes. I’m not just saying that because we had the ‘delightful’ experience of Maggie Thatcher, but unless women (together with progressive men) change the system in the process of rising to powerful positions, they would just adapt to what we have now and rule in the same way as men.

“AND—did I read a while ago that Dan is really parachuting onto the Olympic field?”

I’m still thinking this story was false – it sounded like an April Fool’s to me…

Daniel Craig Talks ‘Skyfall’ Costars And Javier Bardem In July’s Issue of Total Film Magazine, Highlight Hollywood News
    http://www.highlighthollywood.com/2012/05/29/daniel-craig-talks-skyfall-costars-and-javier-bardem-in-julys-issue-of-total-film-magazine-highlight-hollywood-news/
Daniel Craig has proven to Hollywood and his legion of Bond fans and followers, that he’s a true A-list star, and a very talented leading man. Now with the new 007 movie “Skyfall” set to hit theaters on November 9th, the 44-year-old actor got in a little early press coverage via a feature in the July 2012 issue of Total Film magazine.

As for the topics of conversation, he had a no-holds-barred interview. Highlight Hollywood has seen a preview and Total Film got him to chat it up, something he’s notoriously not used to doing on the red carpets in Hollywood.

On Daniel’s excitement over the new Bond film:
“The talent we’ve managed to pull in this movie is phenomenal. You play football, you play with the best people, and then your game improves.”

    On his ‘Skyfall’ castmates:

“I have a good interaction with Berenice and Naomie – in more ways than one
Javier’s one of the best in the business. I’ve had to raise my game to work with him. And both Berenice and Naomie were just incredibly excited about doing the job. They’re playing two very different characters, but I have a good interaction with Berenice and Naomie – in more ways than one.”

    Javier Bardem on Daniel:
“Sometimes I see him doing days of 13 hours, and then after that I see him dressed with sportswear. I go, ‘Where the hell are you going?’ ‘To the gym’.”

Well, from the looks of things, Daniel doesn’t need the gym too much. He’s in prime and tip-top shape.

As a matter of fact, I hesitated for a while before I posted the article. Even if I didn’t post the article, I thought someone, maybe her fans or his haters, would post it here. Sorry, I didn’t mean to want to rock the boat at all.

James Bond Named Top Movie Franchise Of All Time
    http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/movies/James+Bond-241780.html
After serving Queen and country on screen for 50 years, James Bond has been recognised as the top movie franchise of all time in a poll of film fans, beating the likes of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

To celebrate the release of the long-awaited Prometheus, Ridley Scott’s latest blockbuster in the Alien franchise on 1st June, LOVEFiLM polled over 2,900 film fans to determine the UK’s most popular film franchise of all time. Almost a fifth (18 per cent) picked 007.

In a further victory for movie classics, Star Wars came second in the poll with 16 per cent of the vote. Fewer than 40 cinemas were originally willing to screen the first movie in 1977, despite the fact that the franchise has gone on to gross over £2 billion at the box office.

The epic Lord of the Rings trilogy charmed its way into third place with 15 per cent of the vote. The movies, based on J.R.R.Tolkien’s literary classics, may have failed to rule them all this time, but with two further sequels based on The Hobbit set to be released at the end of 2012 and 2013 respectively, the franchise shows no signs of disappearing.

Despite becoming the highest grossing franchise of all time, the six Harry Potter movies were edged out of the top three, flying into fourth place in the poll with 11% of the vote.

The connections of the Corleone mafia family were unable to sway the poll in favour of The Godfather, which came fifth with 7 per cent of the vote. The mafia gang were closely followed by the more family friendly bunch from Toy Story, the first computer generated feature length movie, whose trilogy earned five per cent of the vote.

Alien, which first burst onto screens in 1979, took seventh place in the poll with four per cent of the vote. The film has been deemed the ‘unofficial prequel’ to Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, with the action set to take place in the same late 21st Century fictional universe.

Timeless classic Batman, who made his first appearance on the big screen in 1943, leapt into eighth place taking the title of top comic book movie franchise, despite the recent release of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, whose franchise came ninth in the list. Tenth place was boldly secured by Star Trek, whose eleven feature films took two per cent of the vote.

The top ten favourite movie franchises of all time according to members of LOVEFiLM are

    1. James Bond – 18%

    2. Star Wars – 16%

    3. Lord of the Rings – 15%

    4. Harry Potter – 11%

    5. The Godfather – 7%

    6. Toy Story – 5%

    7. Alien – 4%

    8. Batman – 3%

    9. Marvel’s Avengers – 2%

    10. Star Trek – 2%

    Other – 17%

Helen Cowley, Editor of LOVEFiLM, commented: “Despite tough competition from some of the biggest grossing film franchises, James Bond has proved his timeless appeal, which is only likely to grow ahead of the latest release, Skyfall, in October as we celebrate all things British this summer.

“We can become quite attached to characters and stories so it is no surprise that there is so much demand to turn a hit movie into a franchise.”
