OlderRobert Pattinson: 'Cosmopolis' Photo Call!
Robert Pattinson is ready for his close up at the Cosmopolis photo call for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festivals on Friday (May 25) in Cannes, France.
The 26-year-old actor was joined at the photo call by co-stars Paul Giamatti, Sarah Gadon, Emily Hampshire, and director David Cronenberg.
When asked a Twilight related question, David stepped in and said that Robert is a “real person with a history and a past. The history and the past is not Twilight. It is Cosmopolis.”
Cosmopolis will be premiering at the festival later in the day.
FYI: Robert is wearing a Ferragamo suit.

The ONLY talented actor from those stupid Twilight films. All of the others are just horrible, but Robert’s done good so far.
So excited to see cosmopolis! Plus he looks amazing here! So proud of both rob and Kristen getting movies at Cannes.
She’s an actress not a model. She doesn’t need to blow kisses for the cameras, don’t forget they booed her for not giving them individual shots when she’s not the star. They are professional photogs, they need to be on their best behavior, not just her.
I feel Kristen has more diverse projects coming out. Snow White and OTR. Bel Ami didn’t do so well critically or commercially and Cosmopolis is his OTR.
This made my day he’s just so darn cute! I don’t know if he’s nessicarily the best actor from the twilight franchise but he’s definetly not as bad as everone makes out, I mean he convinced millions of girls, myself included, that he’s the most handsome man ever!
Rob and Kristen have come far! They are both great actors and I can’t wait to see their new movies. Kristen has been harrassed by the paps so bad they knocked over her luggage just to get a picture of her. I don’t blame her one bit being mad about that. Love them…
@dui</ being Kristen's fan doesn't necessary mean being Rob's hater, you know..:) they both got a lot of negative reviews from the hateful critics that can not "forgive" them Twilight, so "didn't do so well" goes both way..
