Cynthia Nixon married her longtime girlfriend Christine Marinoni in New York on Sunday (May 27).

The 46-year-old Sex In The City actress, who wore a Carolina Herrera dress, tied the knot with her 45-year-old education activist girlfriend after being together for eight years.

“On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York,” her rep told People.

The couple have a son together, Max, and two children from Cynthia‘s previous relationship.
