Eva Mendes: How I Stay In Shape

Eva Mendes steps out for a Memorial Day jog on Monday (May 28) in Los Feliz, Calif.

The 38-year-old actress recently shared how she stays in shape.

“I run four to five times a week,” Eva told Marie Claire UK. “I don’t eat meat, and my skin looks a lot better for it.”

In the magazine, she continued to share about her thoughts on body image.

“It doesn’t matter what you have or what you look like,” she said. “It’s something everyone has to work at. I realize I have contributed to a certain happy, healthy, empowered image, but that’s not all of me. I felt it’s important to let women know I have similar struggles.”
