OlderAlexander Skarsgard: 'True Blood' Premiere!
Alexander Skarsgard is dashing on the red carpet for the season 5 premiere of True Blood held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on Wednesday (May 30) in Hollywood.
The 35-year-old actor posed with co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer before heading inside.

At the after-party, which was held around the corner at Lure, he hung out with 30 Rock‘s Jack McBrayer and actor Keith Ewell.

no, no in special tpf, i read it sometimes and i like, i talk about post in general and blogs with news about alexander, with all these people that lose her time written about somebody that hate. here have a spanish foro (foro vogue)where the 90 percent of post are about the bad look, the bad girlfriends and the bad movies of alexander skarsgard, and is a forum fans of alexander skarsgard!really annoyed me.

#65: I think you can be a fan and critical about someone’s actions/works.
For example, I think Battleship was a mistake. If he wants to be taken serious as a serious actor, that kind of movie is not the way to go. It will attract people who would want to work with him because it’s a big movie (and therefore a lot display and attention), so on long term it could work. On short term, no. He is getting more popular, but most people still see him as the TB-guy. If he wants to profile himself as a serious actor an actionflick like that is not the best choice imo. It’s his first commercial American movie for a very broad audience and it could profile him as the actionflick guy. (but since it didn’t do so well I don’t think that’s gonna happen now xD)
Also his relationship with KB was something I was like ‘GOD NO!’ about.
Being a fan doesn’t mean you have to idolize someone so much they don’t have flaws anymore.. No one is perfect, and I don’t think I’ll ever be a fan of someone who portrays him/herself as perfect.

Think Alex is trying to broaden his horizon a bit by choosing very different genres for movies he does. Next up is horror. But still, as an actionflick I wouldn’t have chosen Battleship, more something like the Transporter, but hey, just my opinion:P

Well folks No Way has finally given up on trying to prove I was not on the SD set. I admitted to her that due to her continually asking why I was sent there I made an after the fact assumption about ‘you know who’ bragging about doing their own stunts. And that I confused the VB interview with one about WW. I never knew the reason they sent me. Only what I was told to do. I have apologized to her and am now apologizing to you all for stating that assumption. It was wrong.
I am sorry for all the trolls it brought out and the backlash it brought here. I just could not let her say I was not there. It is a matter of honor.

In order to get rid of the overbite it would have taken braces. We’d have noticed that.
@Whycantipost, I think he took Battleship because it seemed like an interesting possibility that also fit within his schedule. He’d never done a big budget HW movie before so why not give it a shot. I think it probably goes under the category of ‘A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again’. I think he probably enjoyed the actual filming experience more than the promotional experience.
I think he’ll probably stay with the movies that aren’t aren’t supposed to be the blockblusters-like The Hidden. Or Bullies, if that gets made.
He’ll have more choices once he’s done with TB, the other TB actors have also mentioned that they have had to turn down roles because it doesn’t fit in with TB’s schedule.

His gf’s are none of our business. You loons give all his normal fans a bad name. I bet you’ve heard an expression “ASkarslooneys”. Even media has used that word when writing about Alex fandom.
I may be a huge fan of his but I’m not naïve/blind and I don’t think he’s flawless saint but I don’t feel the urge to share my possible opinions about his personal life on the public forums either. I’m only interested to see his pretty face and hot bod on the small and big screen. If you really are Alex’s fans and want to support him you should take lessons from Moyer and Manganiello fans. Their fans never critisize them. And Alex is the one who always is so nice to his fans and his co-workers love and appreciate him. Still his fans trash him on the public forums because of his private life issues? Some great fans he has.

B: the fact that you call other fans ‘loons’ to me indicate you’re not actually a fan.
C: He’s 35 1/2 year old man, he can handle a fan on a gossip site wondering why he chose to film Battleship.
The freakout over perceived criticism of him make me wonder if those commenters aren’t engaging in a little projection, that it’s they who can’t handle criticism.

Obviously YOU don’t have brains or do not know how to read my dear “magnificent” or are you just plain naïve? I wrote MOST of the posters are not fans of ASkars. IDK, maybe situation is changed now but when I last visited the comments were quite venomous. I don’t say any names but if you pay attention especially to those writers who have, let’s say several thousand posts, you know what I mean, but of course only IF you have brains. Besides, I also wrote it is a GOSSIP FORUM, NOT A FAN FORUM ffs! Everyone with their right minds understand that not everyone there or elsewhere on the GOSSIP FORUMS are not his fans. The worst pages are those who claims to be his fan pages and still trash him as he had committed the crime against humanity :D

Not even sure tPF is a gossipforum, its a fashion-forum. What according to you is a real Skars-fanforum then, because i’ve never encountered one:O
Most sites are part of bigger forums, usually there only are Skars-threads, not real forums specifically devoted to him, besides the forum for multiple Swedish actors.
I agree his datinglife is only his business, but to clarify; I think most people disagree with his choice for dating KB not out of jealousy or trying to invade his privacy by talking about it..
The hate towards her doesn’t come from her dating Skars, it’s because of other reasons. She just doesn’t seem to be a nice person and I think that’s where the strong reactions on that relationship came from (but that is a complete different subject and very off-topic here).
I think that’s why a lot of ppl were like ‘oh god don’t do it’ when there were rumors of them dating.
Besides KB I haven’t heard any bad stories about exes/rumored gf’s etc on the threads on this site. So I think the fans here do stay out of his datinglife. There are a lot of trolls on this website, just coming to ask who he is dating and trying to start rumors by calling random people his gf etc. Most of those comments get ignored.
I think most people here don’t even care about his datinglife, they just want the guy to be happy and make nice movies we can all watch xD

@Whycantipost: There are times when I think the commenters dropping in here asking ‘who is he dating?’ are his ex. Yeah, it’ll get talked about, but in the end, when he’s engage/married, I’m sure he’ll let us know.
There isn’t going to be any site-fan forum, etc. where there isn’t going to be some non-troll criticism, it’s just not going to happen. I don’t know what happen on other forums for SM and JM, perhaps they do present some sort of super-freaky unified front for them. But it’s unlikely there isn’t some criticism of them by their fans, somewhere. It’s hard to maintain that no criticism, it’s against human nature.

And in opposite to some other people – I have no problem with spoilers here.
I have to wait until they can show it at german tv – which can thoroughly be a long time again until then (for instance we had to wait for s4 until Feb. 2012). No clue how long it will be this time…
On the other hand; next week starts the european soccer championship – and that’s will be the main thing then. :))
According to Deadline , Alexander Skarsgard considered for the film The Great Wall from Legendary Pictures. The film is about British warriors traveling through 15th century China . Henry Cavill of the Tudors fame has already been cast . Skarsgard is up against Benjamin Walker best known for {Abraham Lincoln , Vampire Hunter films for the part.
Hmmm. This sounds interesting. The possibility of more Alex on the big screen? Even better!
