Katie Holmes heads out of NYC with her 6-year-old daughter, Suri, on Friday (June 1).
The 33-year-old actress boarded a helicopter after spending a few days in Manhattan.
Katie has been busy filming her latest project, a big screen adaptation of Anton Chekhov‘s “The Seagull,” in Kent, Conn.
During some downtime, Katie cooled off by taking a dip in the pond with Suri.
The mother-daughter duo have also been spotted around town, dining at Doc’s Trattoria and Brick Oven Pizza, according to a local NBC affiliate.

THOSE BOOTS! Someone on another Katie/Suri doing something boring piC posted that Surie looked Malnourished with her super skinny body and big head. I don’t know if that is true. But what I do know is that she and Shiloh Jolie Pitt and Suri are about the same age. Man, Shiloh could kick Suri’s butt. I know talking about 6 year old fight clubs are probably NOT appropriate BUT…aw just thumbs down me. I’m a big girl! But not as big as Katies major thighs!
Hate, hate, hate those boots. Hated them on Kate Bosworth. Hate them on Katie Holmes. They are FUGLY!!!!!
At this point, I think she wears the boots for attention. It’s all she has.
I’m stunned by how people/adults talk about a mother and her child. Caddy and inappropriate. I’m sure your family and friends have no idea you think and talk this way about people. Lol yes, I do like them. I also like that Katie doesn’t aim for impressing people with clothing etc., to the world, and is being a mom. There’s a time and place for dressing up, it’s really not important while out and about on a regular day. There are some that like to dress up all the time and some that don’t, is everyone’s own choice, and no one should be judged harshly for it.

Thank you :) I already have three pairs, from Coach. Black leather, beige leather, and beige suede leather. They are lovely. I don’t wear them as often as Katie Holmes, but it’s nice for a girl to just have a wide selection of shoes, even if we don’t wear them too often.The more the better. Mukluks from Manitoah looks pretty funny too, but I like them. Have a few pair of those too, tall boots, short boots, and a pair of funny mukluks. Life is wonderful!

Just because it’s bigger and leopard print doesn’t mean it’s not a baby blanket! Poor Suri.
Katie still continues to carry Suri like a baby because she still WEIGHS as much as a lttle baby!! That kid is so frigin skinny. She’s skin and bones. Candy, cupcakes etc. don’t necessarily make a kid fat. Suri is the most unhealthy lookng kid.
I can’t believe how many grown ops are jealous of a 6year old. I was skinny, and still am. 89lbs, 5′ tall or shall I say short. Eat anything and everything but can’t gain a pound! Some people just have fast metabolism. All of my pictures and a toddler, mid teen, teen to adulthood, all thin. Personally I hate that I can gain weight, I was teased my whole life. But now, as I grew, I’m comfortable. I like it! No one ever makes fun of a fat toddler while parents are feeding them fries and such, all the while their parents are fat too, no one talks about them! I think there’s a double standard here!!

I don’t understand why people think these two are “fashionistas”.If she’s going to wear those awful boots she could at least clean them.Nothing they wear is spectacular.And I don’t know why they insist on having their hair long when it doesn’t even look good.They have thin,straight hair it would look so much better cut shoulder length.It just looks unkempt & stringy!
