Katharine McPhee & Megan Hilty Cover 'Emmy'
Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty go glam for a feature in emmy Magazine‘s For Your Consideration issue, which they also cover.
Here’s what the Smash stars had to share:
Katharine, on relating to her character’s time with understudies: “I’ve experienced some aggressive behavior. That is what this show is all about. Everybody wants to be a star.”
Megan, on real-life auditions: “I’ve done a million of these readings and been told, ‘You are wonderful. We love you. But we need a star in this part.”
Co-star Debra Messing on her desire to perform in A Chorus Line before Will & Grace: “It was what I wanted for life. I was a good dancer, not a great dancer … I flapped my arms around. They said, ‘Okay, thank you.’ I was released and my dreams of A Chorus Line were shattered.”
FYI: Katharine is wearing Herve Leger on the cover, while Megan donned a Robert Danes dress.
