Kate Bosworth rocks a stunning little black dress while attending the 2012 Whitney Art Party on Wednesday (June 6) in New York’s SoHo neighborhood.
The 29-year-old actress shared a laugh on the red carpet with boyfriend Michael Polish before heading inside.

The looks earlier in the day and the looks here are so different. These scream, “No we did not argue last night. We are too happy and in love to ever fight.”
She can’t balance herself unless she spreads her feet out. And she is a little pigeon toed.

All this PDA with Polish is getting old and ridiculous. Stop it already. We get it, you’re in love. I bet she wanted to do it with Alex too but he wouldn’t let her. Good for him. Seems like Polish just gets along with whatever she wants. Maybe she’s found her perfect match.

@Whycantipost, I have no idea whether she’s had anything done other than lots of chemical peels. But having Botox well before anything wrinkly starts happening is also very popular among the young HW ladies. And it, like the drunken giraffe posing, needs to stop. Unless you’re suffering from migraines, you don’t need botox in your 20′s. While it’s not really surgery, it still can go ‘wrong’.

I think she would look 1000 times better if she gains some weight and did something with her hair that is a disaster.

She’s looking very pretty here, love the dress, the shoes and even her hair (!!!). Too bad she’s still posing in such a dumb fashion. She’s passed from the pigeon-baby giraffe thing, into a sort of tripoid thing (without the third leg). I swear she looks like she has to stand that way because her head is too heavy, and she needs to find some balance.
Her PDA is just insufferable and too obvious. She could use all that energy in trying to get her acting career back (IMO)

@Texas Swede: Are you referring to Oliver Theyskens when you posted Kate is hanging on someone she hardly knows? How do you know how well she knows him? I’ve seen pictures of them together before and he wears one of her JM bracelets. I think they’ve known each other a long time. He’s a great designer. BTW, Kate is one of the hosts of the event. I much prefer her stance to the one leg crossed in front of the other, hands on the hip pose so many celebs do! I think Kate and Michael are adorable together. To me, their happiness is contagious. It’s sweet.

I don’t know why anyone would think Kate has had botox. If you know anything about botox, you’d see she hasn’t had any. In videos her face is very animated and moves in a way that a face can’t move after botox. I would say the most she’s done is perhaps dermabrasion. She’s been blessed with beautiful skin.

No, we don’t know whom dumped whom. But I can’t help but feel, ‘oh she probably dumped him’ comes from two things: a general KB fan thing, and some weird thing where some people feel it’s anti-female to think that the woman got dumped.
@All Natural: I don’t think she’s had botox, she does have face mobility. But she doesn’t really have beautiful ‘natural’ skin anymore. Perhaps because of the chemical peels. Which she didn’t need.

@ Tulip: Maybe chemical peels are not meant for women her age but this is Hollywood, you can’t apply normal standards there. Girls in their 20s get botox and that’s not something that was originally intended for them either. We’re all just speculating for the heck of it, it’s what gossip sites are for. Her hair looks good here but there’s something waxy and pasty about her skin. Maybe she’s just tired, she sure as hell looks like she’s about to fall asleep in some of these.

@Tulip: There’s no evidence they were ever living together. And Christmas time 2010 Enquirer article stating that isn’t any proof, either. @Tulip: And BTW the only host of the event is a group called The Whitney Contemporaries. This group is made up of bought memberships of art lovers between the ages of 21 to 40.
This party is the summer kickoff to their fundraising efforts. They raise money for an independent studies program and other museum related studies.
Now if by purchasing either a $500 or $1000 membership in this group and bought a ticket to attend it as well you feel she is a co-host, okay. But in my book a co-host takes an active role in the planning, and pulling off the party and doesn’t need a ticket. And society pages writing about her attending it and don’t call her a ‘guest’ but a “hostess” of the event.
And I have found no picture of the designer wearing a JM bracelet. Please provide link.

@All Natural: First, it’s my understanding that if botox isn’t done with a heavy hand, then the recipient should still retain muscle movement. Secondly, we’re talking about how Kate looks like she’s had botox at *this* event, not Kate from two months ago. If you have a video of her with animated expressions from this night, then please post it! Video does show those things much better than stills.

Now for the stills: Her eyebrows do. not. move. That is not normal. Look at the last picture in the set (where she’s laughing with Polish). Her forehead is completely smooth. So either that’s the worst fake smile ever (entirely possible), or she had too much botox.

But no. I tried posting another picture to show that they didn’t move no matter what her face did, but JJ blocked it. Also, she has significantly less eye lines than last summer (in Deauville, for example). I’m not criticizing her for having them in the first place, but she clearly did something to get rid of them, and I doubt that a cream could make that much of a difference.

@Texas Swede: This dress is by Olivier Theyskens, so I assumed he was just posing with someone wearing his dress for a promo shot. But apparently she modeled for his line last year, and according to Cher’s twitter he wore a JM bracelet in the ad (the picture in the article). So he wore a JM bracelet once. She helped him launch his fashion line and he helped her launch her jewelry line (once). Personally I wouldn’t count that as “he wears one of her JM bracelets”. You can only say that if he dressed himself and he does it with some regularity:

@Jeannie: I mentioned the lack of freckles in a post once and one her stans informed me that their disappearance must happened she got older. I highly doubt that.
@Sofie (not Sofia), I’ve gotten the impression (perhaps incorrectly) that a lot of the ‘this celeb wears JM’ stuff is really ‘this celeb/designer’ wore something from JM once or twice, because it was given to them, or because they were doing a favor to KB or Cher (as you mentioned).
Ugh, those pictures are nauseating. Who the hell does that while trying to get a cab? You can see her looking at the camera too, she knows the paps are there and she’s famwhoring it up good. Those shorts would be better if they actually fit and weren’t so baggy. She can’t ever wear anything in the proper size.

Botox can be applied to various areas so that some limited expressions can be made. This is especially important to actors since for a time directors complained that the female stars had frozen, expressionless faces. Whatever she’s done, it hasn’t been kind to her.

If botox is done right, you can maintain some facial functions.
@Tulip: I was thinking her face looked more frozen then at the CFDA Awards so she might have gotten something done in the interim. But maybe I’m wrong. Her face has definitely been looking more… off recently though. I remember people saying she looked like a wax statue in Korea. I’m obviously not going to convince you. And you are not going to convince me that she didn’t inject *something* into her face (be it juvaderm, botox, etc) or that she got a chemical/laser peel.
@Actually…: To me the PDA from that set does look staged, they know there’s a camera and they’re making sure that get papped being all lovey dovey. But yes, except for the hair gel, he looks fine. He and his twin can be quite cute at times.

@Jeannie, yep, that was the excuse, it was age that got rid of her freckles. Except that you can still see the ones on her body. I don’t know if she did that deliberately, or just took it as an acceptable side effect from the peels.

I don’t know if she had botox injected, but do think she did something with her lips.. maybe fillers that went wrong. If she smiles with her mouth closed it doesn’t look that odd, but when she shows teeth one part of her upperlip does something weird, like there is a dent there.

Everytime i hear about chemical peels I think of the Sex and the City episode during which Samanta gets a ‘quick’ peel before a big event and ends up looking like someone someone terribly burned xD

On the video Tulip posted: Kate is very briefly interviewed starting at the 1 minute 50 second mark. The expression is at about the 2 min mark (and then again about 5 sec later).
@Actually: You do realize it takes two weeks before botox takes effect. It doesn’t make sense that she could have something done between the CFDA Awards and the Whitney Art Party and we’d see the difference. The fact is she has beautiful skin.

@Tulip: No, I nor anyone I know has had botox so I did not know that. I was under the impression that it took two weeks to get the full effects of botox, but that the user would see a definite difference within a couple of days. I guess I was wrong. But if it takes two weeks, then couldn’t this be it settling in? If it’s not botox (or something in that family), then I don’t know why she looks more frozen this event.

@Texas Swede, the article that Sofie (not Sofia) sort of help confirms what was mentioned in comments before, that a lot of the JM stuff is worn because of quid pro quo, and that Cher and KB do make sure that its worn by other celebs, even if the other celeb doesn’t really know/care what they’re wearing.
I’ve always liked Kate. I’m sorry she seems to rub some people the wrong way. A lot of people seem to make a point of putting her down. It went on when she dated Orlando Bloom, when she and Orlando broke up, when she dated model/musician James Rousseau, turned really nasty when she started dating Alexander Skaarsgard. It continues when she is with Michael Polish. Not me, I’m happy if she is happy. She looks so much happier with Michael Polish then she ever did with Alex. There was no chemistry, and Alex acted like he was ashamed to be seen with her. If people are jealous of Kate they need to grow up.
I hate it when she hangs off people like this. It looks so frigging phony and put on. She’s always got a sh*t eating grin on too, like she’s best friends with the person while she’s draping herself all over them. @whosthatbitch: I think some of her fans do like her ‘lifestyle’- they like the fashion, the travel, the ‘glamor’, etc. Maybe it’s something they wish they had. But there seem to be a disconnect, a lack of understanding that those of us who dislike her aren’t secretly jealous of her and what her fans think she has-we simply don’t like her.
@ ladybug: Oh sure, I understand why someone “could” be jealous of her lifestyle and the perceived glamor. In fact, I’m sure that’s a big part of why anyone would follow her career because talent sure as heck can’t be the no. 1 reason. It’s just that these people don’t seem to understand that what motivates them to be jealous and/or like someone is not necessarily the same as it is for others. So yes, maybe it’s that disconnect, who knows.
All I know is that this girl entertains me endlessly with her smug and pretentious bs, her embarrassing twitter account and everything else. I live for her interviews. What can I say, sometimes it’s just fun to dislike someone who’s in the public eye. Takes the edge off of real life once in a while. And she makes it so easy.
@Whatasecond: There is a big difference in a spelling error and continual grammar errors. Spelling errors are an accident. Grammar errors are intentionally typed that way.

That was one of the most asinine things I’ve ever read. Alex filmed his short MONTHS ago and did not have input in the filming process or story concept as he stated. He’s working for a multi billion dollar corporation named CK, not some shoddy fly by night crapfest that he had to do his own cheaply shot ads. KB and Molish tweeted the timeline for that piece of offal they unleashed and even described the hastily done guerrilla film making. The 20′s concept is not new but neither is the fact that CK has done b/w shorts from their inception.
I truly do find it so funny and absolutely ridiculous that the same one or two so called fans of the creature, will come onto her threads and posts the same things over and over. What is amazing they even stoop so low as to use other names to post, to make it look like she has a larger positive following, that doesn’t work anymore. They never say why they actually like her, they never speak about anything, except the fact that they feel we are just so jealous of this famewhore, why would anybody be jealous of this nasty void of air and space.
The large majority of us have disliked her for the longest time, that is something that will not change; what does change is the thing just keeps giving us more and more reasons for our dislike to grow, she is a void, a waste of air, who loves herself and nobody else.
Who else states in interviews that, “she will not allow nobody or nothing to get in her way.” Can the two stans name one friend this untalented nothing has, that isn’t on her payroll. It seems like she had a friendship with Kat C, she destroyed that in no time.
The only thing she is known for is her disgraceful reputation, her disgusting work ethic, her terrible acting and the fact that nobody wants to work with her; and the fact that she walks around with that same smug expression on her face, she truly does think she is it. Unfortunately she is terrible in whatever she does and it only is getting worse.
Even the gossip sites she pays, state that at this point she just gets photographed at some fashion events, they even back us up in our claims in which she cannot even get bit parts.

After I read Golden’s post my reaction was she was being facetious. Somebody (I think Lois but I might be wrong and I’m not going back to re-read) said Kate stole the idea for a b/w JM commercial from Alexis’s “b/w(?)” CK fragrance commerical. Something to that effect. Also, Lois (?) used a “?” after b/w and Golden imitated her. The whole discussion is kind of silly. Kate did a b/w film before AS did a CK commercial but nobody copied anybody. I don’t think Kate or Alex are paying any attention to what the other is doing. They both seem to have moved on quite nicely with their lives. It’s only people here who continue to be intrigued. And I’m not Golden, I’m simply offering my opinion.

Sorry just had to say it. I have never heard any photographer I know refer to it as shooting in a camera . It just struck me funny.
@Texas Swede: I’ve never heard anyone say “in” a camera either. Even my friend’s mom wouldn’t say that, and when I handed her my DSLR she didn’t know how to look through the viewfinder. “I think it’s broken, nothing is coming up on the screen.” (I shouldn’t make fun of her because she’s often awesome, but it was hard not to laugh.)

Although Kate is incredibly intellectual so maybe she was referring to the censor in the camera that records the image. I’m sure that was it. Clearly it went completely over our inferior heads.
@Actually…: You are right. My 3 degrees would never match up to her level of intelligence. After all she was accepted by Princeton while I on the other hand went to BYU and University of Texas. Clearly her acceptance marks her intelligence far above my 8 years of study, 2 bachelors, and 1 masters.

I just find it so funny that she just gets dumber and dumber, I do not think she is even qualified to do the smallest of jobs, she is truly nothing and the worst thing is, it is getting worse.

I still cannot believe how long it has been since there has been just one sighting of the creature and Cher, I don’t mean a twitter photo of Cher dressing her for Coachella (what a joke), but nothing, no lunch, no concerts, like there used to be; there is just nothing. I also find Cher’s twitter comments she copies the creature on and vice versa are just like two business partners that are forced to do this, nothing personal anymore.
I have a feeling we are going to find out what happened between her and Kat C and what is going on with Cher very soon, because these disgusting PDA photos of her and the hobbit and the ridiculous twitter account is starting to go too far.
