John Legend: Get Well Soon Hospital Visit

John Legend gives some ill children great joy during the Get Well Soon and One Blood Tour held at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on Friday (June 1).

The 33-year-old singer spent an hour meeting and playing with Sickle Cell and Hematology patients before giving impromptu performances of “Ordinary People” and “Green Light.”

The Get Well Soon Tour unites musicians to bring happiness and light to sick children through magical music performances.

Other entertainers who have helped the cause include Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Mandy Moore, and Pitbull. Last year, Justin Bieber spent his Valentine’s Day screening his film Never Say Never with some young hospital patients.

I feel very sorry for these kids. I hope they get well soon. Cancer is usually reversible in young patients. Justin Bieber shouldn’t even have been mentioned.

Funny how his girlfriend Chrissy Teigen will go to every movie premiere, afterparty and red carpet event but is nowhere to be seen on something like this. I guess she’s only interested in events where she can shop for dresses and jewellery and be photographed? Either that or she had more important things to do…..like tweeting something obnoxious every 20 seconds.
