OlderAzealia Banks Quits 'Rap Game' & Twitter

The 21-year-old singer recently parted ways with her manager Troy Carter and decided to disconnect herself from the rap music genre.
“No longer wish to be a rapper. I never was… and as soon as I started paying attention to bullsh-t urban media, I started getting myself in trouble. From now on I’m a vocalist, and will not be associating myself with the “rap game”… or whatever the f–k that means,” Azealia wrote on her Tumblr.
“No more twitter for me… It makes me entirely too accessible,” she added. “Catch me on tumblr… it’ll be more interesting.”
Azealia later clarified, “I’m still going to rap. I just don’t want the label and all the other crap that comes with the “rap game”… it’s boring. Rather be a dance artist.”

Hmm….I wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors but I can’t help but wonder what is really going on behind the scenes.
