TB won’t be done filming until the end this month, or very early in July.
@jen the only photo I’ve seen of him in NYC is from an agency that JJ may not buy from. But even so, JJ will probably do another new post tomorrow, related to tonight’s return of TB.

Very steamy (and kind of dirty, literally) and enthusiastic reunion between Eric and Nora. And yes, I’m sure someone will post a comment that that scene means that Alex and Lucy are secretly dating.

And as actors they have to make it believable so if you believed they really had sex then they both did a good job on there part to convince the audience :)
I wish I had HBO, but it’s so expensive here. I’ll have to get the episode by other means, but it sounds pretty interesting so far.

He’s got a history, emotional and physical with Nora, he didn’t with Yvetta.
And this was very choreographed and lit and edited in such a way as to make it look ‘real’. That’s the way acting works.
And I’m pretty sure Anna and Stephen weren’t having actual sex as Bill and Sookie, even they were (and are) in real life.
@Camille: Yeah, it looked good. But there’s freaking out/confusion over the whole Nora/Eric relationship. You’ve got people who really don’t seem to understand that Eric and Nora aren’t related in any way. And this is from people who are paid to review the series, you’d think they’d do their research, since that info has been out there since last year.
Of course some of the reaction to it is also the fact that Eric moved on very, very quickly from Sookie. .
@ladybug: I didn’t know he doesn’t wear a sock anymore. I wonder what changed his opinion about that because he was pretty adamant that he thought it was silly. I really don’t understand why people don’t get they’re not actually related! It’s not that hard of a concept to understand. I mean I could see they might wonder why he moved on so quickly from Sookie, but if you know anything about Eric then you know he doesn’t sit around and wallow like Bill would.

@Camille: My understanding, from something that I read last year, is that it’s for hygiene reasons, and it’s something that he may have been asked to do.
There may have been something about State of California work regulations, but the only ones that I know about specifically concern the porn industry, not regular movie/film. I’m not that interested to go trolling through the ca.gov site to find them. :)
As for Eric, you’re correct, Eric’s going to cut his romantic losses, and move on. Perhaps he wasn’t intending for it to be so soon, but hey, it’s someone you’ve been with before, you’re angry/scared, etc, rebound sex happens!

@ladybug: Interesting. I would think that would have been thought of before, but oh well. I know if I was filming something I’d not want someone’s genitals right against me for hygiene reasons too, and not just being “shy” or what have you. It would definitely be for health reasons.

Do you people who think you saw something really believe that with all the people watching (the crew), the cold temps, that nasty corrugated steel up against her back(and it must have been freezing as well), and in that position(she had to be standing on a crate or two) that either one of them enjoyed as many takes as it took to get that scene right? That scene is the end product of excellent acting, directing, and editing.
Waitttt what? People think the sexscene was real? I actually just came here to say you could see a bit of Skars-peen in that scene (yay pathetic fangirl me), and for the people who don’t know how sex works; a peen has to be in a certain state to enter ladyparts. It wasn’t in that state.
What did make me LOLLL was the fact Nora kept her bra on. During most TB-sexy scenes people are buttnaked, (and if they don’t want to be seen naked on screen, they cover parts, with hair/sheets something else) but still, completely nude. Found it pretty funny she kept her bra on. Maybe she put that in her contract or something.

For me the best parts of the episode were Eric saying ‘Fck Sookie (FINALLY, the guys stop obsessing over whining girl) and Pam complaining. I love that b,tch!
Also liked the fact Sookie didn’t complain that much this episode. Loved her the first season, but later on only complaining and whining. She was a bit more kickass this episode, hope it sticks.
Lala did great, Nelsan is a good actor. Bill was funny, waiting outside while Eric got his freak on. And of course Skars being nude and smexy.
*hits submit too fast* Jessica is getting mean, first ******** over her bf and now Jason (not that he’s innocent, but still). The scene between the rev and Jason was hysterical, rev confessing hahaha (no won’t say too much, will spoil it for people who haven’t seen it yet).

Okay, last nights episode of True Blood was disgusting. You can try to validate it by saying that Eric and Nora aren’t really related so it isn’t incest, but that’s the same as saying it’s okay to have sex with a step-sibling, isn’t it? They aren’t related at all, just through the marriage of their parents.
This sends a truly screwed up message. It turns my stomach that Alex would think that a scene like that was worth doing. SMH I love the big goof but d*mn, this turn of story events is sickening. Alan Ball has left the show so I can even blame it on his twisted mind anymore. Won’t be watching anymore of True Blood. Sorry Alex.

Trueblood best part for me was Lafayette and Sookie and their love for Tara. Second was Jason and Jessica. Then of course my own vampire Tango&Cash duo- Eric and Bill.

Really, the reaction to this is hysterical. I’m sure some of it is probably fake, and people are just trolling, but really, of all the things for people to get the panties in a twist about, two fictional characters who are not human and not related have consensual sex really shouldn’t be the thing to tick you off.

Loved the season premiere, thought it was way more entertaining than last season’s. Still to many f*ckin storylines, but whatever. Pam was the HBIC as expected, liked the bromance, Eric/Nora was hot; Alex/Lucy had amazing chemistry. Everyone was on point, IMO, even Alcide with his chest thrusts(but he better back off Laffy Taffy). Plus, it was nice to see that the hard work had paid off somewhat for Chris Bauer, looks like I could see some semblance of abs there, LOL. Hope everybody enjoyed it as much as I did.:)

I’m confused. Are Eric & Nora brother and sister? I missed Season 1 when a lot was probably explained. Are vampires created rather than born of two vampires? I loved the show but I thought the brother/sister thing was kind of creepy.
@Ick: Alan Ball is still in charge or was at time of filming Ep 1 of this season. And I think he wrote pt of Ep 1 so he could have well been the force behind this idea.
@Tulip: Vampires are made/sired, not born (this isn’t Twilight). Godric is their make, so they’re ‘vampire’ siblings, not related by biology or anything else. It’s not incest!

I suspect that there are several reasons, and not just titillation, for the E/N sex scene, but I don’t think ick wants to be bothered with that stuff.
@Tulip: Vampires are made. Never born. Eric and Nora were turned by the same vampire Godric. They were not brother and sister in their human lives. They call each other brother and sister only because of having the same maker. And in the books it was common for a maker to turn a human to create a partner vampire for one they had already created. Lorena (in the books) had turned someone for Bill that looked like his human wife.
I think sometimes the writers expect all the fans to know the book history and therefore the family aspects of the vamps. But at the same time they mess with the were stuff and vamp stuff so much who can tell. So what they do for shock value sometimes flops and sometimes backfires. The vamp thing is backfiring and the were thing IMHO is flopping.
This Alcide character is not the ‘pack leader’ type. He is too whipped. Too passive. He is indecisive until he is pushed too far and that is too late sometimes. And I am speaking character only not actor.

I don’t think so. I know that TB doesn’t give as much background as in the books, but with the exception of Jessica/Bill, the three well known maker/child pairs have all had sex, though with Pam/Eric, it’s only been alluded to (not explicitly stated stated as in the book). So perhaps they thought the viewers would follow from that that vampire siblings can also have sex.
I really don’t understand the overreaction to it, unless people are also just ticked off that Eric had rebound sex that quickly.
@ladybug I agree. N/E are not blood related. They call themselves “brothers and sisters” because they have the same maker/Father. It’s silly that viewers would take it so seriously. Eric is still mad at Sookie over her rejection. But, they will meet up again, because now he knows that Sookie’s in trouble because of Russell. Both Eric and Bill will protect her. Eric is going to think it was Pam-who else knew? Remember Sookie’s promise to help Pam get on Eric’s good side in order to turn Tara? That’s going to be interesting after Eric confronts Pam. All bets will be off then.

I wonder if TB is even going to tell us who released Russell, and why. Same with who turned Steve, and why. If they do, they’re going to draw out as long as possible.
I’m actually more interested in how Bill and Eric react to Pam having turned Tara, in general, knowing that Tara hates vamps and is now is one.
