President Obama Honors The New York Giants
President Obama proudly shows off his New York Giants jersey on Friday (June 8) in Washington D.C.
The commander in chief congratulated Eli Manning and the rest of the team as they visited the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win.
“Last year’s Giants were obviously a special one,” President Obama said. “Not just because of where they ended up, but because of how they got there.”
He also mentioned Coach Tom Coughlin‘s toughness, recalling last season’s game against the Jets when he was run over on the sideline and suffered a knee injury, but didn’t leave the field.
